Because of those things, I went back to playing Majora's Mask.
Seriously, does anyone know how to get through that temple?
I've been trying to get past the wall masters for ages

I love Zelda games but ONLY if its Toon Link. I've tried to get into the older versions but they just aren't for me. I first played Phantom Hourglass and fell in love.
Then I started to play Wind Waker, which imo is one of the BEST GAMES EVER. I've also played Minish Cap and I'm just waiting until I have money to buy Spirit Tracks!

You could try Twilight Princess! It's not really an older version, but it's not toon Link, and it's a good game. :)

My favorite Zelda game has to be Link to the past on the Snes. I like the whole two world aspect of it. But Twilight princess also had that aspect to it too. But you didn't really see much of the twilight realm. I guess wind waker was a good one too. I do like to toon link thing it was rather cool.
I still rather take the easy Twilight Princess.
Oh I forgot about the Ocarina of time. That was was also good. and it the main part of the split time line theory.

I like a Link to the Past and Ocarina of Time, but I always got tired of doing dungeon after dungeon...
Twilight Princess was pretty easy, but it was so cool that I didn't really notice. xD I really liked the story too.

I loved Ocarina of Time! Although, my brother would never let me complete my game by myself. >.> I really should go back and play it again sometime. I think my sister still has her GameCube and the disk it's on.

I don't think it was any easier than Wind Waker, tbh. I think they figure that if they keep making the worlds bigger they need to pull back the difficulty a little to ease the frustration factor.

I'm a big fan OOT, but I think LttP is my favorite. I can play that through so fast.
And the music is my favorite. Well, this and Final Fantasy. I love Epona. And all the NPC's.

AUGH LOVE. Water Temple has always driven me crazy. Love the Shadow Temple, though. It's my second favorite in OoT. Favorite is the Forest Temple. I'm a big fan of massive, viny, creepy old mansions. XP
Majora's Mask was the first Zelda I ever played, and remains by far my favorite. OoT is an amazing game, but I feel it has a much more linear story and the characters are much less interesting than Majora's Mask. Before people attack me, know that I LOVE Ocarina of Time. I just prefer Majora's Mask. It's probably my all-time favorite game. Maybe tied with Bioshock, eheh.
Anyway, Majora's Mask pretty much changed the way I looked at games. All the games I had played before were Paper Mario (also amazing), Pokemon Blue and Red (also also amazing), and Super Mario 64 (also also also amazing). But Zelda effing blew my little 10-year-old mind. And it still does, every time I play it.

I've played OoT and Twilight Princess, but every time I never finish playing D:
I like watching my Dad play them though, he's played through every one of the main titles c:
But Shadow and Light (I think that's what it is, or maybe Soul? I forgot D= ) Temple were my favorites in OoT.

That's the forest temple. Fun temple. <3
I borrowed Master Quest from my friend.
Everything is so different and strange.
For instance, Jabu-Jabu's belly has cow heads everywhere....O__o

One of my favorite Zelda games is definitely Ocarina of Time, tied with Majora's Mask. The water temples are always ridiculous. D: For a while, I thought I was stuck in the OoT one; turns out I had to lower the water level and move a block. =3=
----------
Oh, and Kitty? I have Ocarina of Time for GC. :D It's available for download via Wii, and there are a few discs you can get it on. :D

Ya shadow temple is nothing compared to water temple...
But my favorite Zelda's either Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, or Link to the Past.

Guess what guess what? 8D The new Zelda is called Skyward Sword! It looks pretty cool. It's apparently really different from other Zeldas. Although the visual style is kinda between Twilight Princess and Wind Waker...I was kinda hoping it would be more like Twilight Princess though. :\ But I'm excited either way! ^_^ It comes out 2011...
Anyone else looking forward to it? : D (I'm hoping to get this thread started again!)

I'm looking forward to Skyward Sword as well. I was also a little disappointed that they went away from the more grungy style, but I still know I'm going to love it. And we've still got times, they change up the look somewhat before it comes out.
As long as the gameplay is like the other zelda console games, then I'll be happy. I'm still curious about that girl on the original artwork they put out for it. What is she?
I'm guessing due to the difference in style, that this won't be a sequel to Twilight Princess. Which is a shame because I wanted to see Midna again.

I think she's the "Skyward Sword". o.O I wonder what her name is going to be...
The gameplay is kinda different...you have to swing the sword at the monsters in the right direction. Like, with the plant monsters, if their mouth is open vertically, you have to swing horizontally.
Yeah, I was really looking forward to Twilight Princess sequel...or at least one with the same style. I really like the TP/WW cross too, but I'll miss how well the light was done in TP. (You know what I mean? I'm not sure if I'm making sense. XD)
I can't believe we have to wait til 2011 though. >_<

Hm, that would be interesting if she were the sword. :curious:
Yay for new ways to attack. I have to go out and buy the Wii Motion Plus though. I haven't had a reason until now to go get it.
That makes sense. The lighting in Twilight Princess was beautiful and I really loved the textures. I loved how it seemed dark but the characters were still bright and full of color.
Considering we have to wait until 2011, there is no saying where this game may be headed visually. If they get enough of a negative response they may switch over. It a possibility.
I'm sure we won't have as dramatic a change as that rumored Zelda game that they were working on before Wind Waker. YouTube - Legend of Zelda Before Wind Waker <- that turning into WindWaker was a big shift, but considering they were already showing off the gameplay I don't foresee that much of a change. It's just possible they may change the look of it.
I'll stop rambling now.

She is! I saw it somewhere that she is. : D
Same here. Wii Sports Resort looked pretty cool, but not quite enough to spend like $60. xD
The lighting was gorgeous! I'm going to miss that. Have you seen any pictures of Skyward Sword yet? Link looks like TP Link, but younger almost...I think.
Wow! That's wayyy different. Yeah, they probably won't change it now. But I've decided I like it anyway. :) Wind Waker was a really good game, even if it was the way it looked. Can't judge a book by its cover and all that...or something...
