That's interesting! I wonder what she's like. I mean, she definitely doesn't look like someone who would talk back to you like Midna does. Hm...
I watched the video for Skyward Sword and looked at some of the pictures. He does look a bit younger. I'm really curious about where this fits into the Zelda timeline. Oh, I'm totally still going to love this even if the graphics look exactly like the screens that are out now. I didn't judge Windwaker by it's cover and that turned out to be a really great game despite what other people thought about the "toony" graphics. As long as Link is still swinging around a sword, running through dungeons and solving puzzles, I couldn't care what it looked like. I would have gotten all of the DS games but I tend to have less motivation with hand held games. But, then I saw news that OoT is going to be coming out for the 3DS (whatever that is!). I've been wanting a handheld version of OoT ever since the DS came out! |
I think I saw something that said it was probably first.
Yeah, I decided it doesn't matter if it doesn't look like Twilight Princess. Now I can't wait to play it! xD I know exactly what you mean! I never did finish Spirit Tracks, and I got bored with Phantom Hourglass. My DS just sits there, collecting dust... D: Really? I was hoping for a remake for the Wii. That way it would have awesome graphics. 8D |
The first huh? Interesting. Hm...
I never even bought any of them. They just don't grab my attention like the console ones. >.> That would have been awesome too! |
They grab my attention, but unfortunately they can't keep it. :\
My dream was that they would remake Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask with the graphics of Twilight Princess... ^_^ |
That would be amazing. Ocarina of Time was pretty much the first video game I ever played and I played it A LOT. And Majora's Mask, I don't know why so many people didn't like it, that one was awesome. It would have been awesome for them to remake them with Twilight Princess graphics. MM would be even creepier with TP's lighting and atmosphere.
|
D': It would be even creepier...
Awww... DX Why the 3DS? Whyyy!? But yeah, Majora's Mask was really good. (Well, actually I haven't finished OoT or MM...plus I have to do the water dungeon alllll over again...just like I had to do the snow dungeon all over again...I haven't had much luck with that game. xD) My favorite part about it is the sidequests. A lot of the older games like Ocarina of Time and say, A Link to the Past, seem like they're just dungeon after dungeon. And dungeons are definitely not my favorite part... xD Although the water dungeon in Twilight Princess was awesome...it still freaks me out when I think about it. o.o The music was the creepiest part I think. xD |
Maybe there is still hope for it in the future. :/
You haven't beat either of them? I played them over and over again, though I guess I also didn't have a lot of games back then, or much to do. I also have the guidebooks, so that helped too. That's true, Majora's Mask was very strong on sidequests, there were only four dungeons after all. It also really encouraged doing the sidequests so you could get the Fierce Deity Mask (AWESOME). I need to play through Twilight Princess again, I only really remember the beginning and the end! XD |
Still hope! 8D
No... xD I'm at the end of OoT, but I just can't motivated to finish it up. :\ And with Majora's Mask, I do NOT want to go through the water dungeon...AGAIN... (I had to do the snow dungeon three times, and I'll have to do the water one twice. ._. Here's hoping nothing goes wrong when I get to Ikana Canyon...AGAIN!) I have a short guide for OoT, because it's in the back of the full guide for Windwaker. I loved doing the sidequest with Anju and Kafei the most. :) I haven't gotten the Fierce Deity mask...but I heard you can only use it in boss battles. :( It's funny, I haven't finished Ocarina of Time or Majora's Mask, but I'm on my third time through with Twilight Princess... xD |
Have any of you seen the E3 trailer for the new one thats gonna come out?
i don't really think it looks interesting, it didnt show any signs of an interesting plot... |
I saw it. It looks pretty cool.
I think that's cause they didn't want to give away too much of the story. They really wanted to show off how they're using Wii motion plus with it. (I saw a couple other videos from E3; interviews and demos and such.) |

Something I do know about the story though is that Link's sword can become part-human. Maybe she'll fill the role Midna did in TP? o:
And also that when he finds this sword it leads him down to the land below...or something like that. |

That is AWWWWWEEESOME. I bet its going to be pretty hard though... |
I know, me too! 8D
Yeah, but a hard game isn't always a bad game. ^_^ I'd actually like a bit of a challenge, with all these Wii games that are out now...the girly/kiddie ones that seem like they've only been half finished. D: Not that all of them are like that, of course! XD I hope the motion control isn't too weird. I had Twilight Princess for the Gamecube, not the Wii, so it will be totally different. o_o |

I think my favorite game to date for the wii is Okami. |
Same here! That could actually just be my favorite game. xD (different from favorite game series though, lol)
But yeah...nervous about the control here too. I'm used to just making Link run around and then hitting the B button for his sword. :B I'm also a little disappointed to see that there were only three empty item slots...and only like, five items there. Only eight items total...? :\ |

And yeah Okami is the SHIZ, im stoked for the one that willl be on the DS |
I sure hope so! ^_^
Me too! It makes me feel like a dork, but watching all the videos and stuff from E3 is really exciting. xD But I don't want to get too off topic. o_o' Um...so yeah, I'm looking forward to Skyward Sword... xD |

I love the Anju and Kafei sidequest too. I bet Kafei is a super sexy adult. :daydreams: Even though you can only use the Fierce Diety Mask in boss battles it is totally worth going back to the all the dungeons and completely owning them with that new found power. Plus Fierce Deity is super sexy too. I've only played through Twilight Princess too and that was while switching off at dungeons with my sister. So I guess I played each dungeon once, which would explain why I don't remember them too well. On a side track my favorite temple is the Forest Temple in OoT. That place is just beyond cool. Though I used to be afraid of the twisted hallways when I was little. XD P.S. Okami was awesome. |
I hate it so so much. o_O And I hate those stupid bone fishes that come up out of nowhere! They freak me out. <_<
Yeah, I've seen pictures of Fierce Deity Link before... : D Isn't he also called Oni Link? o.o Dungeons aren't my favorite thing to do either. xD Oh wait! I just remembered that I'm on my second way through Windwaker. It's just been a while since I've played it... I think those twisted hallways are pretty much the highlight of Ocarina of Time! xD |
I hate the bonefishes too. :<
Yes, he is also referred to as Oni Link. I think I got stuck on my second Windwaker playthrough trying to find the triforce pieces? Maybe? It's been a while for me too. It makes me sad in that game that you get to go to Hyrule but you don't get to explore it. I stand on the bridge and stare out at the field and cry a little inside. It's a great game though. I'm not sure what my favorite thing about Ocarina of time is... How about, who's your favorite character? From each one you've played? |
That's where I stopped too! It just seemed like...so much to do. o_o And I know what you mean. I think it should have been something unlockable...or something... xD (to explore underwater Hyrule more 8D)
|
It just takes so long to collect all the pieces. Though I admit on my first play through I did go and fill in my entire map. Now that took a while. I never got all the statues of the character and monsters though.
I love exploring, so being blocked off from Hyrule was devastating. Though I remember awhile back that there was a glitch you could do to get you down there, but I think it messed up your file. |
I filled my entire sea chart too. xD I can't remember if I did that on my second time through though...
Yeah, I always forgot to take pictures of bosses and stuff, so I never got even close to getting all of them... :( That would be way worse to have a messed up file. O_O It's one thing to do something that freezes your game or something, and you have to reset, but if it messes up the file, or worse, the GAME, then there's nothing you can do. o_O (I'm not paranoid! xD) |
Yeah, I've always wanted to try some of the glitches that were around for OoT, but I was always afraid of messing up my game. And most game stores don't stock N64 cartridges anymore. I wouldn't want to mess it up and not be able to play anymore. D:
