Haha, I don't mind using the guidebook. Actually, I don't have one, but I printed out a walkthrough I found on the internet cause I kept getting stuck so often. @[email protected]
What are the rewards for getting all the fairies again? I always forget to collect the fairies...and I did once, but then I forgot to get the reward. D:

Well I've played it so many times I practically know it by heart.

The first faery gives you increased power in the spin attack and the second faery gives you a full magic bar. I don't remember what the other two gives you, I haven't gotten that far.

Maybe I'll redo all the dungeons...it would be my fourth time for the second dungeon though. x_x But hey, it wouldn't be too hard then, would it? xD
I think one of them cuts your defense in half...and I know one of them gives you a great fairy sword, but I just don't know which is which.

I'm not quite fond of the goron dungeon either. :/ It shouldn't be too hard.

I completely forgot about the Great Fairy Sword! I was so concerned with getting the gold sword that I forgot about that one. I think the sword is probably last.

My least favorite would definitely be the water dungeon.... *shudder* Everything is creepier underwater. xD Although it was almost a good kind of creepy in TP's water dungeon. (temple?)
I finally got that gold sword! It's pretty cool; better than the little dagger he carried around before. xD

Water dungeons always suck. Miyamoto must have heard that his fans hate the water temples, so he makes sure we hate them all. The Twilight Princess one had all the stairs turning. Annoying. >.<

The gold sword is so awesome! I feel so powerful, and it's like, the same size as Link! XD I do wish that I could have the Razor Sword though. It did look cool.

I kinda had a love-hate thing with the one in Twilight Princess. It lasted foreeevvveerrrrr! And the music kinda like, freaked me out. xD But it was really cool at the same time, not like the water dungeon in Majora's Mask.
...Are they supposed to be called dungeons or temples?
It's too bad you can't collect them and choose from all of them. :B

Very true.

Well in the game they're referred to as temples. I was just using dungeon as a general term.

It would be nice. I mean, I might feel like using different swords for different occasions. You should let me have them all!

I've always wondered why they're usually called temples in the game...cause I mean, they're usually hazardous places filled with hordes of vicious monsters, and temple isn't really the word that comes to mind if I think of what I'd call them! xD
They let you in Twilight Princess, but there wasn't much point...you could choose from your plain, beginner sword, or the awesome Master Sword. Hmmm...which one would I choose? xD

Well, my guess is that before they filled up with vicious monsters that they might have been a place for a sages and might have been a little safer. Maybe over time and lack of use monsters started to live in the places. Maybe?

That's true, why would you want to use anything besides the Master Sword? Though in OoT you can get the Biggoron sword which is actually stronger than the Master Sword, but it's heavier, and slower.

But I think it's funny that that's how they all are. xD
Yeah, that's true! I'd forgotten about Ocarina of Time.
I always thought it was pronounced Oh-cah-ree-nah, but it's Ah-cah-ree-nah... (That's the best pronunciation I could spell. xD)

You gotta feel sorry for Link. Random sage says "Hey Link, you need go to such-and-such temple" Link thinks to himself (since he doesn't ever speak) "Hm, a temple, that sounds safe enough." And then it's crawling with monsters and puzzles that make it really hard to get through. Poor guy has to go through a lot to save the world, plus the whole, reincarnation thing every time the world is in trouble.

I still say it "oh" even though I know it's wrong. Force of habit. Kind of like when I was kid and pronounced all the names of the towns wrong. Replaying them made me realize my mistakes though.

When I replayed OoT with my friend she had to correct me all the time because I still said them all wrong. But oddly enough both me and her called the owl hoot hoot lol. I believe water temple is the hardest after replaying it. She made the mistake of letting me take a go at the water temple, and we spend days going through all the rooms over and over again to find one key that we missed lol. I was banned from playing afterward, but that was fine by me because i rather dislike both the shadow temple and the desert.

Regardless of the actual pronunciations I still say them the same way i used to~
I still keep the names changed up too~
Like Lord Jub Jub~ and Hoot Hoot, ect and so on. *runs off*

Shonojo: Yeah, poor Link...
I hate how easy it is to pronounce things wrong, especially in video games like Zelda, cause there are all these fantasy names and such. xD

Jack: Does Hoot Hoot have an official name anyway? xD
Aaah!, you spent days looking for one key? x_x
I like the shadow temple. No wait, the spirit temple? The one that's IN the desert. Well, I don't really like it, but I think it's kinda cool. xD
I always try to pronounce things right...it's annoying. ._. You're lucky! xD

@Jack: That's funny that you both called him Hoot-Hoot. No matter how many times I do the Water Temple, I end up being down one key. It's so frustrating.

@Kaema: Yeah, it's rather difficult to get them right, since no one really speaks in those games. I wonder if any Zelda game will ever have voice overs...

The owls name is Kaepora Gaebora. One can only guess how that is supposed to be pronounced.

I think the CD-I ones did...but those weren't officially Zelda, and they didn't turn out very well... xD (I can't actually remember how or where I found out about those... And I don't even know what a CD-I is. xD)
...I think I'll got with Hoot Hoot too. :3

Is it in those games that Link would say "Well excuuuuuse me, Princess!"? o_x Or is that the cartoon they made up for it? xDD

I'm not sure. I want to say it was in the TV show. Ugh. They ruined Link by making him talk, he's silent people, he's got a sidekick to do the talking for him!

Was playing Majora's Mask last night (stupid water temple) and was struck by the fact that no one has created a working version of the MM clock yet. I don't think it would be that hard for someone to make and it's not like it's hard to tell time off. Only difference is the minute "hand" rotates around the rest of the clock.

I know! And they also pretty much made him wear a minidress in the TV show. xD
Yeah, why haven't they? o: I would totally get one and put it in my room!! xD

A mini-dress? D: Was it made in America? America tends to take things from other countries and ruin them to make money off of it!

I would love one! >.<

Not really a minidress, but his tunic was so short it was ridiculous. Plus he a really short night gown at one part... O_O ?
I always forget how to read those clocks though...but they're really cool. xD I can't remember; would they work with real time?

Yeah... I'm kinda glad that the more recent Zelda games gave Link pants. Now people cans top picking on him. >.>

They would work in real time, there just wouldn't be a second hand. Plus it's a little tricky to tell which part is pointing to the hour since two of the parts are very distinct.

Someone did a flash version that works in real time. They added a little arrow for the second hand. Flash Majora Clock
