My all time fave is "The Ocarina of Time"; that and the "Link before Time". lol I am old school.....I have the Twilight Princess, but never did get to beat it yet..the last time I played it I was six months preggers with my second baby..and he is over two now! O_O I need to sit down and play it again.

They seem to always make the water temple the hardest...although the ice temple in the Link before Time was pretty difficult.

Yeah...in Majora's Mask, the water temple was the hardest. In Ocarina of Time, it may have been the hardest. And in Twilight Princess, it was the hardest there too!

What's the Link Before Time game? I don't think I've heard of that one.

Ocarina of Time is my fave! I own an ocarina too!

Hey is anyone's favorite Wind Waker? I was too lazy to read through all the posts and I was curious.

I completely forgot about Wind Waker...
Ha, maybe I should just say they're all my favorite, cause I like Wind Waker too. XD

I've always kind of wanted to get an ocarina and learn the songs from the games. 8D Can you play any of them on yours, saybel? :)

I'm one of the few who enjoyed Wind Waker, I don't understand why so many people hated it, the sailing, the graphics and the triforce piece collecting are the things I hear them say about it. So what? That was the point of the damn game, suck it up.

I really like the wind waker as well. I was glad when there was a faster way to sail though. I liked the graphics too. They werent the best around or anything but i thought it was a nice change of pace. Im currently playing the Phantom Hourglass, but im stuck and am loathe to look online for a guide of some sort. I only resort to that if I must or If i want to get all the tricks and trades of a game after I have beat it.

Link: Did some people really dislike Wind Waker that much? I thought it was one of the best ones!
Krendanya: If I get stuck on a game, I'll usually just look up that specific part of it and try to ignore the rest. XD

They were probably OoT fan boys and didn't like it because it was so different from the other previous games, but isn't that a GOOD thing? It may be the same plot of rescuing zelda and defeating ganon but the way it was executed was unique and refreshing. They're just bitching about anything.

Just because it's a little more colorful doesn't make it a kids' game that's so different from the rest of the series. xD
And yeah, I'd say that it's a good thing to not have all the games the same! Then they'd get boring.
Although...that new Zelda DS game...Spirit Tracks, I think? I just can't see a train in a Zelda game. :|

I liked Wind Waker....Dissapointed when I found out my brother had managed to scratch the disk to death.
Another favorite was Oracle of Seasons for the Game Boy Color.Though, it got difficult at a point. D:
Over all....I will say, I enjoyed Orcarina of Time.

In the legend of Zelda games, I've always found the water temple to be the most challenging, not the the games are that hard, but of all the temples that one always seems to get you to think the most.

You'd think that a shadow, darkness, evil, etc. temple would be the hardest instead of a water temple. XD

Has the last dungeon ever been the hardest in any of the Zelda games?

I haven't gotten very far on that one...only to the Lost Woods dungeon.
I would think that Majora's Mask would have the hardest, because it's kind of hard overall. I accidentally erased my game on that and have to go through the water dungeon all over again. o_o (I made a copy after the snow dungeon because of a freezing glitch that made me do that one twice.)

I'm an experienced player in the 3D zelda, but I admit having some difficulty with the stone tower temple in Majora, I used a guide.

The 2D zeldas hate me with a passion. xD

I'd say I'm pretty experienced too, but I still had a lot of trouble with the dungeons in Majora's Mask. xD I checked guides for both the ice and water ones.
I bet the Stone Tower temple will be a lot of fun, eh? XD
The only 2D Zeldas I've really played are the first one(but not much), a Link to the Past, and Minish Cap. They don't hate me, except for maybe the first one.

A Link to the Past was one of my first SNES games. Thought it was great to actually see Link in full colour :D

And then there was Ocarina of Time... which was a hell of a time consumer. One of the N64 games I was most excited about owning, for sure. It's got to be, with out a doubt, among the best 64 games ever made.

And now I'm miserable because I don't have a Wii and can't play the latest one

Oh well. Great series nonetheless!

I have to agree, Adventure of Link was an awesome game. It was very challenging, more so than the first game, even the second time around. I loved the palace where you had to use the flute at the three stones to make it appear. I would love to see this game remade!

Ahh the joy of Zeldas... I love them all I couldn't even begin to decide on what one I liked more. It is by far my favorite video game string.

Me too! Whenever I try to think of my favorite, I can never decide. If I had to pick on, it would probably be Twilight Princess. I think it mixed the old with the new well, and had a good story and presentation.
But maybe that's just because that's the one I'm playing right now. I guess I really can't decide.

I didn't like Twilight Princess (except for Midna--she was sheer awesomeness).

My favorite games would be A Link to the Past and Windwaker.
Although, I really liked Minish Cap and Ocarina of Time. :)

STONE TOWER TEMPLE. DO NOT MENTION IT.
I seriously nearly hurled my Gamecube into a wall trying to climb that stupid stone tower. Fucking Elegy of Emptiness... not to mention the fact that I ended up having to do this tower about a zillion times, counting all the times I fell or had to restart for other reasons.

The temple itself wasn't so bad (I actually thought it was cool...) except for the fact that I had to do it three times. One time the game froze up on me, and once I ran out of time during the boss battle. Close to the end of the boss battle, too. I WAS NOT HAPPY.

What was the last dungeon in Link to the Past? You mean Ganon's little tower thingamajig?
