Wild Arms. RPG
So I just got Wild Arms 5 for PS2 for X-Mas. And I'm ADDICTED! No seroiusly, un-humanly addicted. All I've been doing sicne Christmas day is spend Hours, from sun up to sun down just playing and playing. I can't stop! xD I find it much better then Final Fantasy, even though I do LOVE FF too!! I think it also kicks Kindom Hearts arse. xD (I'm not a big fan of Kingdom Hearts for some reason..probably because of the characters..I can't stand Daffy and Goofy and them..Dx) I'm currently at the part where I just got back to Gounon's Mayor after bringing the Johney Appleseed Wine to the Shrine and meeting Carol. :3 So Discuss? - Wild Arms! - English Dubbing = FAIL - Addictions..? - How much you love it. :3 - Opinions - Other..? |
I played a bit of Wild Arms 5, but I stopped. I don't know why but the characters doesn't appeal to me, except Rebecca. I find the story a bit dull too, ick, I kept on hoping it'd pick up soon, but the longer I played, the faster I lost interest. I can't even remember where I stopped, all I know is that I have Greg in my party and rescued a little village by the shore.
Now Wild Arm 3 and 4 I enjoyed a lot. But I'm happy to meet WA3&4 cameos in 5, like Arnaud, Yulie and Jet. :) Maybe I'll pick up the game when I have time later or nothing else to do. XD |
I also got Wild Arm's 5 for Christmas..I played it for a little while and I did enjoy it alot as a matter of fact I am not too sure why I stopped playing it lol but I have to say I liked Wild arms 2 and 3 alot more, I think what turns me off of Wild arms 4 and 5 is the battle system and on 4 I didnt like the fact of not having a world map area to explore, 5 has more of the map area but I liked 1,2, and 3's map more

Well, I've never played 1, 2, 3, or 4. :P But I geuss I'll have to try them! :3 I have never really liked Rebecca, though. :/ I don't know why, she sort of annoys me, and when shes in her original Hot Denim outfit, all I can see is Yuna from FFX-2..:/ I don't know why but for some reason their costumes look so alike at certain angles.. Fishy, no? xD I think I like Avril..if not Carol. I love Carols personality, but her english voiced dub sounds stupid. Like, high class STUPID. xD Ruby: :O You got it for christmas too?! OMG WE'RE TOTALLY NOW INSTANT BEST FRIEND TWINS. O.O" Like I said to Alice, I haven't played any other Wild Arms Game but I geuss I better try them, since they sound so much better. o.0 I personally love the battle system..Just yesterday I found out you can move your character to a HEX that could be 4 HEX's away..like, I thought you could only move to a HEX that is like, beside your HEX. (Confusing..) But yeah..:/ I never really use the Map, I don't understand it, seriously, I suck with maps and this one especially, I suck hard. It's so darn confusing! >.<" All those little square dots, I don't know what they represent, and those little white poorly-drawn circles on the map? What the hell are those? :S Bhaha. I'm so dull. D: |

I've played one, two, and three and seen the anime, it's a really cool series and I love the music ^_^ I have 4 and 5 on my amazon wishlist too

i liked the original wild arms and never played the others. but it got stolen and i was never able to find a copy of it so i never got to even beat the game.

Wild Arms one and two are ok but after that they kind of start going down hill. They have a lot of puzzles to solve. It's definitely a challenging RPG. I like in the Play Station Two remake how you have more characters to play as rather than just the three you normally get.
