My brother and I have been recently considering on purchasing a tablet for our computer. So which brand do think is the best buy, or what do you suggest?
Thanks.

But I have no idea what kind of tablet to buy, just make sure it's compatible with your computer, my friend and I have Vista computers, he spent 325$ on a really good tablet, it was awesome, plug it in. *Not vista compatable* Thank got for receipts!

Some have spoken about tablets in the Art Discussion forum here: http://www.menewsha.com/viewtopic.php?t=18509
Perhaps their opinions can help you out? ^^
I personally like Wacom the most. <3 But I'm biased since it's the only brand I've used.

Wacom, hands down. I had a Graphire 3, which was really reliable except the cord got in the way of everything so I'm waving up for a Graphire BT.
@kitkat~ I thought the cheapest Wacom tablets were called Bamboo Fun. O:

LOL WYNNA. xD I was there for that moment. :ninjaxx:
I have a tablet that I paid $100 for. It's a very good tablet; Wacom Graphire 4. I love the mouse it came with and the pen is SO comfortable on my hand. It won't slip when I'm drawing which is -great-.
I think Wacom is the way to go. ;]

I use a Sakuya tablet... I think that's the brand... I only use the tablet for coloring and outlining scanned pictures. Besides that, when I try to draw, the lines come out crooked. ._.

I use a Wacom Intuos 6x8, but I want a "directly on screen" kind of thing, like the Cintiq. Only problem? MAD EXPENSIVE. D:
But yea. wacom.com is a good site to check out. ;3

Hmm. I wouldn't know the best brand because I've only used and own one tablet. That's my Wacom. I use it a lot.

Well everyone always gets Wacom, but personally I have an Aiptek and it works just fine. O_o It cost about $99 like 5 years ago, so I dunno what it is now. It still works the same as it did then and I use it pretty often.
