Yes, yes...I know that it's not as "frightening" as previous Resident Evil installments nor am I a "real" Resident Evil fan since this is my favourite of the series. (Code Veronica follows a close second) That silly notion aside, I want to know a few things.

Have you ever played Resident Evil 4?

What's your opinion on the game?

Was it a good decision for Capcom to switch the Resident Evil tank-like formulas into a "shooter" type game?

I just love this video game to death and I want to know why people like or don't like this game. Tell me your highest score on Mercenaries! Tell me how many times you've beaten this game. I wanna know! :o

I like the game, I've beaten it five times now ad still going although slowly the controller shoting is loosing it's value. So I'm going to buy a wii and play it on that.See how fast I get bored with it on there ^_^

I haven't played any of the extra stuff yet, I was working for my unlimited weapons and I'm nowworking on getting a hit average of 100% I'm in the high 90's but I can't get up to 100 yet, when I do I may go play some of the rest.

I personally don't think the RE series is frightening, just creepy.

Well, I've never actually completed the game. ._.; Only half of it. I have seen it played quite a bit though because my boyfriend has played through it maybe three times. He actually started playing again last night. I really like the game and I enjoying watching him play.

Oh, and it amuses me so how the birds carry around grenades. xD

I'm not a hardcore gamer or anything. I do not like the style that a lot of the survivalist horror games are made to be played. I don't know the technical names for it, but the way that it is in Code Veronica, the only other RE game I've played. The way that you can't really look at anything close up bugs me; the camera is always at an odd angle. When you walk, if you go into another room, you usually end up walking a different way because, with the new view, the directions change. I also hate how you can't tell if there is a zombie in the other half of the room until you walk far enough for the view to change and practically step on him. So, yes, I liked the 'shooter' view in Resident Evil 4 much better.

I think the game is a good step forward. The more intelligent enemies give the game a more difficult feeling. it still has the puzzle element but with more action involved. I have only beat it once so far. I think the fact you can get different and upgraded guns is an awesome addition. The quick turn function I found a little clunky of sorts in Code Veronica was much better done in this one. Overall it was a really good game. I prefer the zombie element though. I think they should take elements from the latest movie with the super zombies and add that into the RE 5.

I liked it. And I thought it was still frightening. I don't get why people complain about it. Reminds me of Silent Hill 4. Although I can side with SH4, it was different from the other series, but still a good game, in my opinion.

I agree with Blue, I thought it was a good step forward too.
