Well... I just completed the game. It took me roughly 110 Hours to do (I enjoyed every minute of it).

I've been a HUGE fan of the Movie so when I seen that they did a game version of it I thought to myself "I have to have it!!" I know that ALOT of time when a movie is made into a game (and visa-versa, lol) it loses alot in the process, and I expected it with Scarface.

I was really surprised to see that the game picks up about five or so minutes before the end of the movie (I won't ruin that for the few that haven't seen the movie).

I would compare it to the 'Grand Theft Auto' game series, but both games are based on or inspired by the movie "Scarface", lol. I will say that the basic gameplay is the same, however once you get into the game you'll notice that's where the similarities end. For those that have played some of the "GTA" series the transition to "Scarface" will be easy (well... you'll have a better chance of surviving, lol).

I think what really made the game worth it for me, was the Tony Montana character is spot on as far as appearance. All of his one-liners and comments are in the game (would've been better if the great Al Pacino was doing the voice over himself).

There were a few times in the game where I felt like I was stuck between rock and a hard place (kind of like a dead-end in the game, lol) but with a little patience and knowhow I was able to dig my way out and get back in the flow.

The police are a little tougher to get rid of in "Scarface" than in the "GTA" series. If you let it get too carried away, it becomes impossible and the only way to get rid of them is to die (Had to do that a few times). They also like showing up at the most inappropriate time possible. For example, I was working on eliminating a gang and right before I kill the last handful of gang members the police show up. That'd be no big deal but in order to keep the police off your back, you have to conceal your weapon and hope the the police and gang members start shooting it out and you don't get caught in the cross-fire (and you ALWAYS do!).

The gangs are a serious challenge. Alot of them have high-powered weapons but the ones to watch out for are the ones with chainsaws sneaking up behind you, lol.

It's a fun game and I'm going to continue playing it with the hopes of increasing the size of my bank account!

What were your thoughts on the game?

I bought this game just to own it, since I love the movie so much. ^^

I only played it once, and could've even get to the limo. XD;;;

My brother's played it a lot; he says GTA is easier.

Lol. For some unknown reason you can't get into some of the limos, but later on you'll have your own to play with ^_^.

lol. I had a few Deaths before I made it out of the Mansion and a few more in the yard, lol.

The game kind of just throws you into it all, but once you make your way off the property the game eases up a little bit.
