I'm currently spending a tiny bit of my time playing Tibia, its a free MMORPG in the same general field as everquest, W.O.W., and vanguard but the graphics are at best gameboy or nintendo quality. It can be alot of fun if you're into that kind of thing, personally i've always played the knight class (one of the 3 classes available to players without paid premium accounts) and its great to be a tank. visually the most impressive features are the monsters and the actual world, the avatars arent much to look at but the real draw of the game is just to be the best, the current level cap is at 400 that i'm aware of. Thats alot better than most MMORPG's... it doesnt get much into the role playing but it does play well and its not too hard to have fun.

Just watch out for 'cheats', some people disguise them as Trojans. I've never played Tibia, is it Windowed or Full Screen?

It looked lame. How can you get into that game?

I get into it because i cant afford a W.O.W. ready computer and its just kinda fun to do something thats amusing and still simple.

So if one can get past the graphics it is a pretty fun game then? *tilts head* Its hard to pick a good MMORPG since there are so many out tehre these days!

I played Tibia for about two years as a Druid and a Paladin.

Tibia. Was. The best.

One of my favorite parts about the game was luring giant spiders to Venore. Good times, man...

But then CIPsoft ruined the game by fixing that up, introducing the skull system and then adding soul so I quit.

Yeah i hate it when i get the opportunity to do ghoulishly horrible things to people myself... Its really fun if you actually play to be better at it and not to run around killing other players. I managed to get my dad into it too, so now we both play on the same world (Silvera) based out of kazordoon the dwarf city. Level grinding gets to be abit tedious from time to time but i hear that from ANYBODY that plays a level dependant MMORPG. Its just about grinding away until you can finally take on that monster that killed you so many times before and go on to the next challenge.
