Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Accademy
Gawd I hope I spelled that right.
SO! This game is so much flippin fun. I know its probably one of the oldest online games ... ever ... but its still pretty damn fun. The story itself is pretty basic. You start off as a initiate and move up the ranks to jedi knight. Its a pretty ok story, gets one use to force powers and weapons and the like. The game hits its high in multi player mode were you can play games such as free for all and capture the flag (there are many others but I've not played them. reason why? these two are just a lot of fun =3). You can choose to join a game requiring an internet connection or you can create your own private game. In private games you can have up to 16 players (you plus 15 bots) at start and once in game you can choose to add 16 more bots. Let me tell you, playing with your favorite characters from the movie is quite fun. =3 A major plus for this game is its open code. This means that, with the right software (which can be found free online) anyone can make characters, levels, weapons, ect for the game and actually PLAY with these items. The site JK2files.com is full of free downloads (sanctioned by Lucus Arts so it IS legal to do this) of nearly anything you can think of. Every character from the star wars universe can be found on the site in at least 2-3 different ways (different colors, forms, ect) as well as many of your favorite shows and movies. Let me tell ya, ridding a chocabo with a light saber is FUN. =3 Right now, my friends and I are creating an entire mod based around a story of ours and its coming along quite nicely if I do say so myself. One of the best parts of the game is you can make personalized characters to anything. If you can think it and have the patience to make it, you can. |
Jedi Knight Academy isn't exactly old really.
But well, I really like that game. One thing it could be great is the ability to use both Dark and Light side powers on multiplayer. |
its ok i dont really like that one :l but ill play it :]

2003 is considered old now-a-days because of the development thats happened between then and now. I guess thats what I meant. ^^;
Mars, have you tried playing with mods? Adding in other characters besides what is given to you is quite fun. |
I've only played that on the Xbox. Lets just say the adjustment between it and KOTOR is not funny. But it is a good game. I really only got it for the fact that the playable character is customizable. I prefer the females though, since they do have some of the better outfits, namely the Zabrak and Twi'leks.
Oh, and even comparing the graphics to KOTOR(the first one), its no real problem to say which is better. (Which is odd, since they came out in the same year) |
