Unfortunately, I'm one of the unlucky ones who got a Disc Read Error. Therefore, I've sent my Wii off to Nintendo for repairs - no Brawl for a week or more, I guess.

Haha, yeah. I was annoyed - so hopefully, Nintendo lives up to its promise and sends my Wii back quick!

I hope they do too. This is pretty much the biggest release on the Wii ever. You cannot be excluded from this.

Yes, unfortunately for myself as well, I am a victim of the dreaded Disc Read Error.

I literally cried.

However, it was only my boyfriend's copy he brought to my house hoping to play and show it to me, but alas, until I send my Wii to distant repair shop, I can't play the most awesome fight game of the Wii. T.T

My anticipated character to play are: Link, Pitt, Pokemon Trainer, Toon Link, and perhaps Sonic.

What mode are you playing on?


I got ABOUT 4-5 hours and 51%.
At around 30-47%, I WAS FREAKIN BORED ;-;
But now at 51% I'm having fun again xD

I'm over the 70% mark and right now it's kind of frustrating to play...but I do this all for the love of Sonic! XD I was playing on normal but decided to just do easy since I wanted to get through the story mode once through.

*to Fiarra* Wait a sec...that can't be right since whenever I unlocked a room or defeated a boss the % went up for me. O.o That and it counting towards trophy collection doesn't make sense since you can get trophies and stickers by doing the coin launcher game. At least I hope that's not the case because at one point it's gotta end. T^T

The % seems to refer to what percent of the items in the game you have collected, rather than progress. When at the last stage, we were still at like 60%ish. But now with all the character trophy collection, it's jumping up all of a sudden.

We also got ROB but I haven't tried him out yet.

xD Melee is what mainly drove me to buy a Gamecube, and of course, it's the same with Brawl.

Though I'm curious, does the Wii have ports for Gamecube controllers built in?

Checking on my repair order status with Nintendo, I see that they have already received it. So with any luck, it should start coming back soon -- if they aren't inundated with hundreds of Wiis, that is.

@ Zen and Tonic- Actually, I never sent it off. See, my boyfriend has his own Wii, and I've over at his house more anyway.

We played a lot today, seeing as he just got his copy. We battled with 3on3 matches until we got Marth, I believe, then went to beat the story mode. The cutscenes in it are beautiful and quite hilarious in some cases. ^_^

I love PEach in story mode. xD
And I think I'm in "The Great Maze" or something like that.

I was simply amazed by the Adventure mode. ^_^

While I knew it would be an enjoyable mode to play, I never expected it to be nearly that long or so fun. The cinematics were breathtakingly beautiful, and often comical.

I was estatic that -final- Super Smash Bros. had a reason for their Brawl!
