Rayman has abilities that are more awesome than marios but i like mario more. I just like the way he jumps and runs. Its kinda funny to watch. :)

Actually Rayman had Rayman M which was basically a racing game based on Rayman reveloution but it's not that great. Has the done before thing going on.

Mario is my favorite. I mean he is the most normal superhero in the world. He's a plumber for Christs sake! :P

Rayman tries too hard to be cool. D: I prefer Mario. :D I really prefer retro 2D Mario also, so Rayman loses out, having always been 3D. (I think?) xD
The exception being Raving Rabbids, because I love minigame games. |

For me it's Mario, but only because I've never actually played a game with Rayman in it! I doubt he'll have the same kind of personality though. He's just so funny in games like Paper Mario and Superstar Saga.

Mario is also a face I grew up with, I know the plumber really well. I watched his shows on Saturday mornings (along with the Zelda cartoon!), I played up until Mario 64 - I don't like Mario in 3D at all, unless they are MarioKart or SSB...

Although mario does have a cute accent when he says "Here we go" on the nintendo64 game where you do all those doors in the castle and stuffs |
I love the completely uncool, easygoing feel to Mario's games--they're just about sheer fun. You can never take them really seriously (unless you're a longtime fan) and even then it's more about the fun than the LOOK EXPLOSIONS.
Conversely, I do enjoy Rayman's humor quotient a ton, and the look is just so darn cute. >w< |
I liked Mario in every game. From the orginal to RPG to 64 bit.

It depends. If we are talking about... Gameplay, i'd choose Mario. Mario has been in such a large variety of games, most of which are indeed excellent. Rayman's games are pretty good as well, but ultimatly Mario has more games and more vareity in gameplay. To put it in another way, i'd rather be stuck on a deserted island with every one of Mario's games that every one of Rayman's. If we are talking about Rayman VS Mario in a battle, i'd say Rayman. Yes, Mario is pretty mean in Brawl, but he doesn't have helicopter hair or far-reaching limbless fists. This is, assuming no power-ups of course. If we spoke in terms of power ups, this would get confusing. If we're talking about who's hottest, i'm leaving this thread. Bai! |
i love the rabbids series of rayman, but i'd have to say mario. they've come up with so many fun games that include him in it. :3

Mario and Rayman are completely different. Rayman (as far as I know) doesn't have a princess to save! That's an automatic -10 points XD Just kidding. But I would have to say Mario. He's just...Funny. I mean, he's a plumber who has a princess for a girlfriend that he has to save on a regular basis. How awesome is that? Rayman is just...Himself? I don't know anything awesome about Rayman. The last actual Rayman game I played was for the first playstation. |

I atually dont know, because they both have good points, for example;
*mario is traditional *mario has more games about him *rayman tries to be good , but dont get there *although, rayman ravin rabbits is hillarious and i love the minigames on it But still, overall i perfer mario because he is the best, classic character. :) |
Mario, man. I've never even played the other one. I just loved everything about the little guy!
