So, what was the first video game you ever played?

When I was very young (2 years old, or so), my dad tried to get me to play Space Invaders on the Atari. But being a small kid, all I did was press one button again and again without really playing anything..

I think the first game I actually did play on my own was the original Super Mario.

The first game I ever remember playing was Duck Hunt

Mario! I think it was Super Mario world...
Can't remember it right though.
And if it wasn't Mario it was Pacman!

Depends on which type of game you're talking about.

On a top-of-the-line console, it'd be something from the Mario series, I'm sure.

If not, I had these handhelds by Tiger Electronics...there were so many but the most specific one I remember is playing The Little Mermaid when I was 4 years old. It was fun but I do remember dying a lot o.o or I dunno if I ever finished the game.

Oh, man, I remember that Little Mermaid handheld! My sister used to love that one.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. All the earlier games I just watched my brother play.

the very first game i played was soulblade for the sony playstation 1! i think i played it when i was four :D

The first video game I can remember playing was Super Mario for Super Nintendo. xD I still have it actually, though I haven't played it recently.

I don't know, actually. I think the first one I ever ever played was years ago when somebody fixed the Atari for us. I know I played Frogger, Duck Hunt, Pac-Man, and there are a few more I can't think of. Then I moved on to play the N64. Then a Playstation. Then a PS2. Then a gameboy..many types, aaaaand finally, a 360. xD I don't own all of those though. Ohellzno.

Pit Fall

My First ever game Played was sonic, yep sonic for the sega genesis....I blame my sister it was all her fault for introducing me to it...she got me addicted and everything. D;

I remember playing that crazy DOS schoolbus driving Fischer-Price game when I was in kindergarten. And Oregon/ Amazon Trail. Who didn't wait with bated breath for Oregon/ Amazon Trail day in school?

On console, the first game I played was for the Genesis. Crystal's Pony Tales. It remains one of my favorite games to this day. XD

My first ever game was Mario Brothers on my cousin's NES. My first ever console however was the Master System (the first one with Duck Hunt and Hang-on built in). I still have some of the games.

The first game that I truly remember playing is Duck Hunt on the split game of Super Mario and Duck Hunt together.

I loved that light gun so much. Just the sound of the trigger brings back fond memories. I loved being called a Crack Shot.

However, I hated that stupid dog if I missed. The annoying mutt laughing at me for my failures. Alas! If only I could have shot the miserable thing with my light gun. T.T

I don't think I can really remember... Maybe one of those games like Duck Hunt. But the one that I clearly remember the most is that little game called Jumping Flash. xD That game was amazing.

Sonic the Hedgehog; it was the first game we got for our Genesis and I remember watching my dad play it all the time. Of course I started playing it too but I wasn't as good when I was a little kid ^^U We actually still have the game and the system.

Haha first video game I ever played would probally have to be Banjo-Kazooie. Boy did that game rock!
