Menewsha Avatar Community - Spectrobes: Good buy or not?

I went to a local Gamestop today and saw a game called "Spectrobes." I have heard about it before and to me, it looked like the Disney version of Pokemon or Digimon. Has anyone ever played it before?

I wasn't sure if it would be a fun game so I decided to come here and ask people what they think about it first just to make sure I don't waste my money. Please feel free to express how you feel about the game if you've played it, or if you've heard of it.
