a lot better than expected? I thought it was hilarious. And I was expecting it to be a really stupid movie. I want to buy it when it comes out on DVD. haha. |

I haven't seen this movie yet. I hadn't planned on seeing it because I assumed like many other comedies, all the funny parts would be in the commercial, but I've been hearing a lot of pretty good reviews for it. I might just go see it after all. I'll probably keep an eye on this thread to see what more people thought of it.

But I loved Superbad.. so I was HOPING it would be great-- but I wasn't sure if it could top Superbad. I laughed so hard I was crying though!! :D |

It was so great, I went when there were maybe at top ten people in the theatre with us. We couldn't stop laughing the whole way through. B+

Slightly off topic, I'm noticing a lot of people here saying "I thought it would suck."
... Why did you guys pay to go see a movie you thought would suck?! XD I mean, yeah, sometimes you're wrong, like this time, and it doesn't suck, but why not just wait until it comes out on DVD and you can rent it for a lot less or something? |
@Cherry: Honestly there were a lot of factors that influenced me to go watch it.
One: M.I.A's song was in the previews. Two: Rogen. Three: Franco. Four: Pot. If her song hadn't been used, and it would have been different actors, I probably would have thought it sucked, too. But I have my biases and preferences, and I love those two actors, so. :] |
Pineapple Express was simply amazing. I haven't laughed so hard in ages! I even went to go see it with my mother. She almost died laughing. You'll fall in love with the characters. It's definitely worth seeing.

It was such a good comedy! Seth Rogan and James Franco have such a good chemisty.
