Does anybody here watch the Food Network?

I'm completely addicted to it. It's like crack to me! My favorite shows are Paula's Home Cooking and Down Home with the Neelys. I like Good Eats a lot, too. Alton Brown is like the Chuck Norris of the Food Network!

Have you ever prepared a dish you saw on a show? How did it turn out?

The cable company here doesn't offer Food Network, so I don't have it at home. I do watch it when I can, though, since I loved it before I moved.

I can't stand Paula, it's just a personal thing. Same thing with Bobby Flay.

I still <3 Alton Brown, Rachel Ray and Guy Fieri when he's doing Diners Drive-ins and Dives. :)

Paula Deen's voice tends to drive me a little nuts, but she cooks my kinda food! I make a lot of her recipes.

I hate Rachel Ray and I wish she would just go away. And I haven't watched any of Guy Fieri, but he strikes me as a douchebag and I'm not quite sure why. lol.

I like watching Iron Chef America, Ace of Cakes, The Next Food Network Star, Challenge, and a few other shows. They're very entertaining. I love Duff.

I don't have any least favorite shows. If I don't like it, I just don't watch it.

I've never made any of the recipes I saw on one of the shows, but my mom has.

I tried to give Iron Chef America a chance, I really did, but it pales in comparison so drastically to the original that I just can't get into it. I generally abhor reality shows, but The Next Food Network Star is actually pretty good when I get to see it, and Ace of Cakes is just awesome.

Challenge is hit or miss depending on the challenge. :)

I love the food network too! I wasn't too into Paula's home cooking at first, but then I watched her other show, Paula's Party and saw how lively she was. From there, she completely grew on me and I love her cooking now. I haven't tried making any of the dishes I've seen, but I want too.

I like all the other programs they have too. Do any of you watch their contests? I love Challenge, Ace of Cakes, and The Secret Life of... Yeah. Like everyone else, it it a form of digital crack for me. ^_^;;; Ha ha.
