Yeah, Jessica's pretty awesome, too. I really enjoy her character.

I am currently reading the Franklin Mott/Mickey book and I can see why they just turned those two characters into one. I don't remember Franklin from anywhere else in the series so he really was just a minor character and Mickey is/was freaking crazy.

I also heard that Jessica and Tommy would get together, but it seems like that isn't going to happen.
Everything seems to be going well with Hoyt and everything. Plus Jessica is too tall for him.

Since I'm about two books away now, I think they mention Mickey in book 5 or 6. Franklin is dating Tara in a couple of books and then he just kind of passes her on to Mickey. Which is why I said I can see combining the two characters into one for the purpose of the TV series. Franklin, in the books, is just a sugar daddy and Mickey's the crazy, mean one.

Yes, Franklin's alive in the books. Though, Mickey is killed off by his maker. That part of the story is totally different too.
I don't think they'll add a Mickey since the Mickey/Franklin story was combined. Franklin wasn't crazy in the books.

Interesting. Tommy is pretty cool, i guess. He is kind of a "drama queen" haha He gets that crybaby voice when sam yells at him and puts him on the spot. It makes me laugh. Oh. But Is sam still..kind of that "nice guy" or is he one of those..mysterious ones in the book?

Alex Skarsgard is a fantastic actor and the makers of this show were damn lucky to find him. Swedish is his first language, and he does look the way most people picture Eric.

Bill mostly, and I'm not caring for Sookie lately. I know it's hard to show less of the main characters, but they had equal portions for the characters before. D:

I loved her grandmother and I was pissed
when she got killed
but I knew it was needed for the plot

I also want to see more of Tara and Lafayette more, and Jessica- though Jessica is basically my dream girl and I wish she was a lesbian, I think these are the characters that make the show.

Yeah, I don't like Bill much either. And I agree that Sookie in the show is a lot less likeable than Sookie from the books. I don't know why they had to make her so much...meaner? I mean, in the books, she doesn't enjoy being mean or killing and in the show she just does horrible things. I don't really get it.

Mhm, the grandma was expected so I wasn't pissed and I'd love to see more of Lafayette. He's one of my favorite characters of the series.

I've nearly read all the books and have seen all the episodes so far.
