the ring
|
i don't know much scary movie which are very scary....
suicide club is nice as the suicide and the things they do are quite interesting but to you it might be gross. :] |
Hmmm... The Grudge or House of Wax :o
|
I liked watching Silent Hill the movie. When the town shifts to the other world, simply divine. Can't go wrong with the ever wonderful Pyramid Head and his great knife.
|
The Strangers. (ohh the suspense.)
I also have to give credit to The Ring. I have never been so afraid to pick up a phone or turn on a tv before. |
I Know Who Killed Me.
God... the writing... the gaping plot holes... I thought it would never end. I still have nightmares. |
@Fabby ~ :lol:
Sounds terrifying. |
I'm terrified of Alien vs Predator.
Watched it only once and never again. I'm sorry if it sounds sissy. But I really was freaked. I had to hide behind my little brother, thats how scared I was. |
I would have to say that the only movie that still scares me witless is Shutter (the Japanese version). Just the thought that I could actually capture the image of a ghost or spirit on camera freaks me out.
|
Fabby - Haha! XD I love it. ...Not the movie, I didn't even think of seeing it, I just love the way you said it.
I have not seen many scary movies, as I do not handle scary movies well AT ALL (I can think of four or five that I have seen. Ever.), but the scariest for me personally would be either Signs on I Know What You Did Last Summer. I'm terrified of aliens, so that's why Signs was so scary to me. I Know What You Did Last Summer was scary because it just was. Also, I was twelve at the time. ...I probably should have admitted that. Whenever I mention either of those movies, I get laughed at and told Signs wasn't scary, and that I Know What You Did Last Summer was just a crappy movie. o_o Thing is, I don't like either of those movies. They just scared me. The BEST scary movie I have ever seen, as opposed to just the scariest, is by far the Japanese verion of Dark Water. It was SO GOOD. It was more suspense than scary, at least until the end, but it did mess with me enough to make me take very quick showers for a long while... ...The American version was crap, though. |
any saw movie!!!
|
The Ring was the only movie that really scared me.
@Fabby I agree. I Know Who Killed Me was probably the worst movie I have ever seen. |
House on haunted hill, Feardot com. but the one that scaried me beyond all reason was...well I'm not sure, anyone see, darknessfalls?
|
actually i dunt find scary movies that... scary o_o
but i dunt like Samara : ( when she crawls up from the well >3< |
The grudge C:
I was very very paranoid about a hand shooting out of the toilet after I watched it. Don't know how, but it was scary! |
I don't know any movies now that actually scare me, I find scary movies delightful.
But I can remember when I was a little kid I was absolutely terrified of the Goosebumps Swamp Thing ^-^; ha ha ha, I remember I had nightmares for like a week. Even though its a laughably silly movie now that I see it. I was like six and horrifically terrified. I wish it was that easy to be scared now. A lot of scary movies these days just disappoint me. >.> |
I have to agree with a lot of others on here, The ring. I don't know why but it scared the bejesus out of me. I see a lot of horror movies so that's saying something.
|
The Descent was reeeally scary, or at least the scary parts scared me more than most movies. But I couldn't understand some of the dialogue at the beginning because I don't speak British ;D
(aka I couldn't understand their accents when they were speaking too fast or quietly. Hahah) The Grudge was a horrible movie but scared me a lot. I'm not scared by slasher movies or monster/zombie/whatever movies, I think they're stupid. But suspenseful movies and movies where things are suddenly THERE...that scares the hell out of me!! Let's see... but as far as slasher movies go, Scream is a good series, especially once you figure out that whenever there is a door in the background of a shot, someone will jump out of it. That makes it suspenseful whenever you see a door! xD Final Destination isn't so much scary as it is stressful, because you're like "NO! DON'T PUT THAT THERE!! TURN YOUR OVEN OFF! CLEAN THAT SPILL UP!! NOOOO" |
Every scary movie there is?...Lol no but here are some that made me leave my lights on at night. House on Haunted Hill, actually this one me and my cousin stopped watching because we got so scared but we finished it up in the morning. It was scary though we were in her house alone her parents were across the street playing cards when all of a sudden the dogs start barking(there was no car or people out there) but then we here this girl scream bloody murder. So we decided that was enough of that movie for that night xD And turned it on the disney channel. Resident Evil scares me to no ends, mutant/zombie people scare me more then anything. Well them and Jason T^T...Signs, Urban Legends, Jeepers Creepers, I didn't get scared too much in this movie but I watched a lot from behind my hands. It also didn't help that my uncles love to scare me ><. The Grudge, um yeah I had never actually screamed in a movie theater or even a movie. But there was definite screaming and covering eyes feet up on the chair so no one can grab ankles xD. Did I mention I get scared easily?? But I love scary movies...It's weird. Like Prom Night thought that movie was good but scared me, I watched it with two of my friends and we were all squeezed onto my love seat xDD It was great. The Ring only saw the first 10 min? And wanted to cry xxD I was a big big chicken in the 8th grade though. Soo yeah I avoid scary movies unless I have someones hand to squeeze/hold onto xD

I have yet to find a scary movie that actually scared me. Now, granted there are all the scenes where something leaps out from the dark and makes you jump, but that's typical and not scary, but startling. Anything scary I would count as something that creeped me out to the point where I am incapable of thinking of anything other than what I was creeped out by. I remember Silent Hill to be a bit disturbing, but other than that I don't care to watch any "scary" movies. To me they are usually poorly written and have no element of plot that interests me. Just blood and death and women screaming.
|
Destination 3. It's not the fact that there were monsters or serial killers in masks, but it was the fact that these things happened because of freak accidents caused by death. It made me realize we can't cheat death.
|
Hmm.
I've got a problem with the Cenobites in Hellraiser. Every time I watch one of those movies, I'm dead-to-rights convinced that they're coming for me, even though I've never even touched a puzzle box in my life. Kinda sad for someone who's almost 30, but there you have it. XD |
Well, I hardly ever get scared. The only movies that really scare me would probably bs the japanese version of most of the american remakes. The japanese definately make the best horror films. For instance the japanese one missed call 2 definately scared me but the american version of one missed call wasen't scary at all. I hardly flinched.
