I have a question for someone who knows a lot about AT&T cellular devices. PLEASE MOVE TO MEDIA. SO SAWWY
I have a friend who wants to switch his iPhone to a Qucikfire, and his dad says he only can if there is no switching fee.
Is there a fee to go from the iPhone to the Quickfire? this |
Um, as long as you have the Quickfire, it's free as long as you have the sim card.
Your friend would have to go into the store to transfer all of his contacts and pictures if he really wants them. Or just copy all the contacts onto a piece of paper then into the phone. |
Usually there is a fee associated because your friend probably had to sign the mandatory two-year contract with AT&T for the iPhone. It can cost quite a bit of money to get out of this contract as well. If I was your friend, I would consider waiting until the contract is up for renewal.
Though, when I was switching over to my iPhone my old phone's contract wasn't up. I went to my local AT&T store and a kind saleswoman worked for over an hour and got me a great deal! Your friend could try this, but unless you get a very friendly employee helping you, they'll just tell you it's not possible. Also, report this thread by clicking on the exclamation point at the bottom of the right hand corner on your post. In your explanation of the report, just simply type, "Wrong forum, please move to Media!", or the like. Moderators will be able to move it then. :) |
I'm not sure this really belongs in Media either, but I'm going to go ahead and move it there.

Okay, thanks.
He's waiting for the contract. No fee? |
