Hi everyone! Has anyone seen the movie ? I read the book because I wanted to see the movie and LOVED the book.

Tell me if you saw it and what you thought of it.

Did you read the book too? Is the movie anything like the book?

For those who are not sure about this book/movie it is about a daughter that was conceived to help save her sister's life. The sister has a rare form of Leukemia. You would think it is about the daughter, but in reality it is mostly about the mother and the decisions she made for both her daughters. The book is beautifully written and is a must read if you are into that kind of reading. A heart jerker.

I just saw this movie last Friday! It was actually really good, which surprised me because the reviews were rather critical. Most of them were saying that it was overdramatic, but I thought the movie did a fine job. Besides, anyone who wants to see this particular movie is probably looking for something melodramatic. xD;;

I haven't read the book, but I do know that the movie changes the ending significantly. If you are one of those people who hates it when movies aren't perfect adaptations, you might want to stay away from this movie.

If not, you should see the movie. It was really good and surprisingly amusing at times. The humor was great because it didn't make me super-depressed the entire time.

Good to know. You should read the book. I loved it. So the ending is different? I was taken by surprise by the ending in the book. It will be interesting to see what they did. I do hate it when movies are not like the books, but I still like to compare. Thanks for the input. :)
