Korean Dramas, ETC..

I LOVE to watch Korean Dramas, and include other Asian Dramas, as well; well that's probably because I'm addicted to them! My favorite ones are, Stairway to Heaven, it's so sad, it makes me cry every time I watch it; Sad Sonata (another tearful drama.. very sad).., and others but I can't seem to remember. When I watch a drama, even if it's supposed to be marked Comedy, there is always a sad spot somewhere; and it always makes me cry.. I guess I'm just an emotional person. *sniffs*

So what's YOUR favorite Korean Drama?

Discuss:
  • Your favorite Korean Drama
  • Has a drama ever made you cry before?
  • If you haven't watched a Korean drama yet, are you planning to?
  • What are some good Korean Dramas to your likings that you have seen?

RECOMMENDED DRAMAS TO WATCH:
  1. Stairway to Heaven
  1. Smiling Pasta
  1. Sad Sonata
  1. Romantic Princess
  1. Wonderful Life
<< I SOOO LOVE this drama! You should TOTALLY watch this drama<3333333333333333333333333333333333!!!

I recently started watching the Taiwanese live action romantic comedy of Hana Kimi. It's so cute and funny. But I hear the Japanese version is better.

I haven't watched a complete Korean series as of yet but I know there are lots of good ones out.

I have seen My Lovely Samsoon, Coffee Prince, Full House, and a few others I can't remember the name of.

태왕사신기 - The Legend. Best fantasy series (both Asian and Western World) I've ever seen. It has everything one could ever wish for:
  1. An epic storyline
  2. Likeable, realistic characters - every single one of them
  3. Asian dramaturgy - I just love the Asian way of telling stories
  4. Beautiful pictures that made my eyes water - landscapes, magic, costumes, cities - everything's just so very artistic
  5. Special effects, editing and camera work worthy of a Hollywood blockbuster
  6. A soundtrack that makes my heart leap every time one of the main themes are playing

The Japanese (I can't navigate the Korean one, since I don't even speak a single word of Korean :P) website has an image gallery that gives a small insight into the high quality, but doesn't really live up to the series itself.

Sorry I'm rhapsodizing, but I'm just so in love with the series. It's what first made me realise that not only Japanese people are good at making Asian series...

@I am Okay: I dearly enjoyed Wonderful Life. It was such a sweet series, and I just love watching Kim Jae Won's acting - he's so great at facial expressions!

While I enjoy Japanese and Taiwanese dramas as well I believe Korean dramas are by far the most addictive, tear-inducing material in the Asian drama genre.

Full House is high up on the best KDrama list.

'Autumn in My Heart'
'A Love to Kill'
'Delightful Girl Choon Hyang'
'Snow White'

Those are a couple of my favorites.

'Empress Chun Chu,' or 'The Iron Empress,' is currently airing and even though I'm not fond of historical dramas this one just sucks you into the story.

Three of my favorite dramas are:
