Are viral videos contagious?
 

What makes a viral video viral? No, I don't mean the birds and bees basics. Is there a particular something that you just HAVE to send to everyone in your address book? Do you look for comedy, or something jaw-dropping? Are you one of the first to know, or one of the last? Personally, I'm one of the last. Even when it pops up on my home page, I generally don't look. I don't like forwards, so unless they're truly remarkable, I don't get them. I've thought about making a video and trying to get it to go viral, but I really have no idea how to go about it. Actually, I'm not even really sure it's a good idea.
