My fiance and I have been saying for a while that someone was going to get either seriously hurt or killed because of all these dumb dating shows. Luckily, noone on the show was really hurt. Megan could have easily been killed though.

On August 19, 2009, VH1 placed the series on indefinite hiatus. The network also released the following official statement:

Ryan Jenkins was a contestant on Megan Wants A Millionaire, an outside production, produced and owned by 51 Minds, that is licensed to VH1. The show completed production at the end of March. Given the unfortunate circumstances, VH1 has postponed any future airings. This is a tragic situation and our thoughts go out to the victim’s family.[7]

All mentions of the program, beyond the single statement above, have been removed from VH1.com. The remaining run of the series has also been pulled from the iTunes Store, cable video on demand services, and the network's schedule.[24]

On August 20, 2009, TMZ reported that Jenkins was formally charged for the murder of Fiore,[25] all but assuring VH1's cancellation of the series the following day.[8][9] The search for Jenkins would end three days later on August 23, when Jenkins was found dead in Hope, British Columbia, reportedly having hanged himself.[10] The next day, VH1 announced that the planned third season of I Love Money, on which Jenkins was reportedly a contestant and the grand prize winner, was canceled.[26]

Oh my god, that's freaky. I didn't know that it was cancelled at all, but wow. Anyway I don't think any of those guys were really good for Megan - most of them are old and well, considering Megan in general, none of them would have really made a good match.

Which one's Ryan again?

He was the really smooth one that said he wouldn't make her sign a prenup. I told my fiance that guy was way too smooth to be real. I guess I was right. I feel so bad for that other girl's family.

As for the guys on the show, my favorite was eliminated the first day. I liked the old movie producer guy, he was funny. I'm pretty sure the two trust fund guys were gay though...just a feeling. Did you see how badly that one guy kissed? Gross.

How come it's always the well-groomed ones that are gay?? ;___; They gotta leave some hot guys for the rest of us!

Haha...I didn't find either of them attractive, so the guys can have them. Besides, I don't like well groomed guys much. I think I would look weird next to a guy like that.

I didn't like ANY of those guys. They were all freaks. Don't care if they're rich!

Yeah...I'm not into guys like that. I've never liked any of the people on those dating shows.

That's why I have no idea what they were thinking.

I love that show and it really sucks that we can't watch it anymore.

He didn't look like he was capable of doing something like that then killing him self. CRAZY!
Something much have click in his head and made him go crazy.
Then he killed him self? WoW even more crazy, so he had to have done it because if he didn't he would not have killed himself at all.

He was also gonna be in I Love Money 3 (Don't know why since he was a "millionaire") Now we can't even watch that show..... The ironic part is he wont I Love Money..... Yup ironic I tell you.

I saw a couple of episodes of that show, but not too many. I can't believe that happened.. That is insane. And he was the one that won I Love Money 3? I can't believe that either. I think fame gets to people's heads way too much.

He was a millionaire, he won I Love Money 3...and now he doesn't even get to spend that money! : ( A sad way to go.
