Yupp, a general discussion about Hannah Montana? Also known as Miley Cyrus? topic. These are my thoughts..................

Okay, ermm well.. to me I don't really like Miley Cyrus, and she's not the greatest singer ever but she's not bad. It doesn't mean that I'm against her and all of that, but I'm just not a fan. A simple way to put it. Yes, yes, I know . Some people who aren't fans of Miley Cyrus still like her, too. So GD, why do a lot of people hate Miley Cyrus? Personally, I don't like her and I don't think of her bad either, and I do like some songs from her. So give me your opinions and thoughts, and blah blah blah!~
No criticizing, or cussing someone's post just because they have different thoughts and opinions.

I know a lot of people hate her, but keep in mind that she's just a 16 year old girl. She works extremely hard--no one can deny that, even if they dislike her personality and/or music. It must be so stressful for someone that young to be in the spotlight like that and she does a good job despite all of the pressure.

Anyway, I do agree with other people about her songs though. They're not really good and they're all very very cheesy. But some of them a quite catchy. I particularly like Party In The U.S.A. and it was decent enough that I stuck it onto my ipod. I liked The Climb and a few of her other songs as well.

I like her songs, but as a person I'm kind of disappointed. I was hoping she'd be more like Selene Gomez or Dem Lovato. Instead she's turning into the next Britney Spears. I like Britney Spears' music, but I hate her as a person, same with Miley. She is supposed to be remodel for girls, yet she doesn't act it.

I like her okay. I've never watched her show or any of her movies but I like her more recent songs sung by her (not Hannah?) I'm not sure how that works... but I like some of the stuff that's on her BreakOut Album. The ones I've heard anyway.

I think she's got a nice voice. A lot of her songs are the typical lightweight tweencake Disney pop, but her voice has an interesting depth to it that makes them bearable. I liked 'The Climb' and 'See You Again' quite a bit. 'Howdown Throwdown', not so much.

I think it will be interesting to see how she turns out as a person. I like how she writes some of her own songs. She seems to have a considerable amount of creative talent, as young pop stars go. I hope she doesn't get caught up in fame and get into drugs and promiscuous sex. It seems that a lot of girls (and guys!) go that way and it does not turn out pretty. I think she's got a long, promising career ahead of her if she plays the good cards dealt out to her well and wisely.

Do I like Miley Cyrus... well I can't say that I dislike her or anything. I respect everyone who has managed to make it into the music industry, it's a tough task.

I don't listen to her music, but I must admit some of her songs are pretty catch. Haha.

I have no idea what the name of her songs are, I really recognize songs by the beat or tempo of the song.

I don't like her but I do like her dad. I adore Billy Rae Cyrus; his songs are the best!

I don't like Miley Cyrus.
I despise Miley Cyrus.
I hate her music; I turn off my radio everything she's on.
Its just her voice, I can't stand it.
And singing isn't for her really.
For singing, I'd prefer Britney Spears over here.
For acting, I'd pick anybody over her, her show is corny as crap.
So, in my opinion, I think her father's the one pulling the strings to her "outstanding" career.

Hmm. I used to like her about two years ago.
I liked the song 'See you again'.
I don't really like her sound that much. The way the music is... its just not really my type of music.

She has a couple of good songs, but I'm not a big fan of the TV Show.

Okay this is just my opinion, but I absolutely dislike miley Cyrus. One of the main reasons is because of the way she dresses.

I understand that she is growing up and trying to get away from her Hannah Montanna lable, but it's getting really wrong.

Most of you have probably heard the strip pole performance a few months ago.
The fact that millions of little girls look up to her and she dresses and acts the way dances sends a bad message to young girls.

Now I'm not exactly the best role model, but if I were her I would never be a slut for millions of people around the world to see.

I don't keep track of Miley Cyrus. Is she becoming every other pop star, just like everyone else?

Yeah, apparently her latest video has her dancing in a cage. Because that's exactly what I'd like my daughter to aspire to if I had one...not to mention her little sister has put out a line of kids' clothing that would make any clerk at a Frederick's of Hollywood blush. Her parents are just pimping them out as teensy little whores because sex sells and nobody wants to hear Achy Breaky Heart anymore.

Wow, when did "role model" become synonymous with "behavior control matrix"? If you don't like a role model for your children, then minimize exposure to him/her, don't wax intellectual about how the way someone else is acting is "wrong" or "harmful".
