Big Bang Theory
 

Okay, so I was channel-hopping and suddenly two important catchphrases made me retract my finger from the "channel up" button. CERN and Picard. It was like geek-gasm at it's best.

So, where does this series stem from, and above all why have I never heard of it?

It's not even like the jokes were incredibly cheap (and that's not just because a series featuring science, comics, cosplay, science fiction and the most incredible, lovable geeks ever would have won me over, anyway). And one of my favourite actors (Johnny Galecki =3) is actually playing one of the leads.

I'm not that much into sitcoms, but this one... Geektastic!

I like this one a lot. It's very funny. I've watched it basically since it premiered.

My dad got me into watching this show (with like five others) and i love it its verry geektastic!

I enjoy it. Sometimes it feels like its trying too hard, but overall its a fun watch. I really should sit down and try and watch it on a regular basis.

Personally, I'm in love with Leonard. Thus I'm none too fond of Penny right now, in light of her recent treatment of him (See S3 finale). My other favorite character is probably Rajesh. Like me, he's only really interesting when he's drunk. =3
My favorite moments from the past three seasons are, in no particular order, the "Neck Shot Lime" moment, the original Bazinga, the ball-pit Bazinga, and any time Sheldon does his 'laugh'.

I discovered this show this week, I LOVE IT!
I'm already in season two :p

Oh I really love this show, I watch it all the time and like everything about it, it's my kind of humour.
I'd have to say my favourite character is Sheldon, he just has the best bits and is sooooo geeky! And he always makes sense to me, just love him. =P

I'll really have to check for any DVD releases - I've already missed so many episodes... :( :( :(

This is my favorite show going on right now, mostly because I am in love with sheldon, the other reason is I have seen math nerds do equations to get a couch in an apartment. I often laugh so hard I cry when I see this show. it was the frist thing I dvred when I got the new cable box.

Nalah Sin, I found it's very easy to torrent all three seasons using Piratebay and uTorrent. I caught up with the first two and a half seasons in a couple of weeks, and then every Monday night when I came home from work at 2am, I'd just search for the newest episode and watch it while having dinner. I've almost sprayed my laptop with drinks several dozen times while watching the show. It's just my favorite thing in the world right now.

This show was great, but I think it's done. The show hasn't been as good since season 3. :(

It's contracted for at least 2 more seasons, from what I've heard. Season 3 just ended, and I suppose everyone is foaming at the mouth to see if Sheldon gets laid.
Personally, I lurve the show, but Sheldon is asexual--just like Spock is a Vulcan, Ka D'Argo is a Luxan, and Telemachus Rhade a Nietzschean. If they change that just to capitalize on the 'sex sells' angle, I'll stop watching it.

I haven't been able to watch passed the first season. :'( Moving somewhere with no cable is teh suck. But man, I used to adore watching this show every Monday night with my old man. Recently got the first season for cheap on DVD.

I just finished watching all three seasons straight. I must say... unbelievably amazing. You don't even need to be that big of a nerd to enjoy it! For instance, I know OF the topics discuss... not in great detail, but enough to still enjoy what they are saying. That's what's so great about it. Plus the whole contrast in characters with the addition of Penny (who is literally 'The Girl Next Door'), it creates an extremely comical atmosphere.

I would say Sheldon has to be my favorite character, like most people. He is just one of a kind and really holds the whole show together. I know how some people are claiming what they do and absolutely do not wish to see happen in season four... but in all honesty, I'm not at all worried. After three seasons filled with continuous amazement, I trust that whatever they decide to do for season four will be just as great.

I love the show- always have, always will. Penny is my favorite, but as everyone else says, Sheldon is always hilarious. I have no idea how all the actors get through a scene without completely cracking up; I know I couldn't make it. Occasionally, you can tell when one of the actors ad-libs something in. I am a total geek, and will admit it. This show is too funny to pass up! (:
