It was so-so, I thought it would have been scarier actually but I was a little disappointed cause it was putting boring through the majority of it and I think i jumped once and it was cause it caught me by suprise but that was it. But everyone should just watch it cause no one really knows what one person is gonna like heck most like it and the other half dislike it so watch it get your own opionon on it.

I really liked the movie and how it was filmed. It's not that it was scary to me but it unleashed some type of emotion that I couldn't hold in. At the end of the movie I sat on the chair for a few minutes before I cried. I was disturbed by the fact that no one helped the couple. I know the movie was 'based' on true events and all and it bothered me that no one could have given them the proper help they needed. The movie actually inspired me to peruse a career in the paranormal so I could help those who truly need it. As crazyas that may sound.

My sister and I watched it a while ago! And I love ghost and horror movies they are my fav genre but that movie scared the crap out of me D: I could barely sleep that night.
All through the night I noticed every little noise my house made D: It was a good movie though =D I enjoyed it even though it scared me.

I really enjoyed this movie. It took a while to build up to the scary parts and I watched it alone in the dark basement. I kept looking over at my door thinking "don't you dare" Because if something happened I would have been so creeped out. I like how it shows that someone can be taken over. The ending was intense.
I liked the style of filming and think they actually pulled it off better than the Blairwitch did. Mostly because you never see the witch, you only see dumb kids getting scared in the woods. In this movie however you have a normal couple living with this unseen demonic force. I wuold have liked to know more about the girls back ground as she said it's followed her for a long time.
It would be interesting if more footage was "found" of her youth that showed my parents used her in rituals or something like that.
I'm not sure if it would have been as creepy alone.

I was impressed with this movie considering the budget was so small. I ended up watching it the other night and it scared the piss out of me. Then my boyfriend thought it would be funny to scare me when I was coming out of the bathroom.

You're not alone. Ever since my uncle told me about that movie I've been waiting for the possesed lady to pop out and attack me. I'm a very paranoid person. If you're the same, I don't know if I would go see it.

I just watched it the other night and It wasn't scary in the slightest. I honestly was laughing at some parts while my brother was sitting next to me cringing. The only thing that really got to me were some of the loud noises, some of which I heard in my house when I was younger, like something banging on the door. Other then that though it did not really do anything for me.

I just watched this. I went and visited my aunt and all she could talk about was this movie. So I rented it. When I got done watching it I just didn't understand the hype. It was an ok movie but not that scary or one I will ever watch again.

Did you think it was a scary movie? Personally...I was surrounded by a bunch of friends at midnight and we were making fun of it the whole time. I think if I was sitting alone and watching it might of been different.

I was terrified D: Probably because we watched it at night with all lights out, only sis an I. Also being easily scared doesn't help either ^^;;;;;;

In my opinion it was NOT the scariest movie made in a long time. But that really has to do with the person watching the film.
I've seen Paranormal Entity , which has the same setup but is muchhhh better and scarier imo.

It's actually not that scary. I watched the original version that was shown at a film festival. Perhaps the theatrical version is scarier?

the original had at the end in memory of micha and Katie which is weird because it makes your believe it's a true story and the original one had some longer scene like the one where the find the girl on the internet it has actual footage of her first bite out of her arm and things like that. I personally thing the original is the best but the dvd only has the theatrical version and the alternate version

I thought it was really scary, personally, and I see a lot of horror movies. I liked that it was a chilling, suspenseful movie instead of one of those gorefests...

I finally saw it and have to say that the movie was only interesting half way through it somewhat. I really had a hard time getting into it. I just found it boring in my honest opinion. The idea was cool, but it just wasn't my cup of tea I guess....

Probably the worst movie I've ever seen in a long time. Poor production, poor direction, poor acting. "Based on a true story"? Yeah, way to make it look hokey and pathetic as hell. Also, people are filing a lawsuit claiming that the director falsified some information.
How on earth do so many people enjoy this movie? I saw it with my two best friends and we were all trying not to laugh the whole time.

I was honestly highly disappointed in this movie. I was expecting to at least be creeped out or have some 'jump' scenes thrown at me, but nothing! It was slow, boring, and not even a good ending.
I have no clue, what so ever, how anyone could call this movie the scariest movie ever.

its scary because it happened IRL. but.. given that it was just made up.. i dont think its scary at all. the movie was presented like a documentary. and yes, it is creepy. being possessed, and big footsteps at night. and talking without knowing what you're saying. it creeps me out a bit. but all in all, Exorcism is still the scariest S*** i'll ever see.

I honestly thought this was the dumbest movie I've seen in quite awhile.
The scare factor of this movie lies in it being a true story, and obviously I was quite painfully aware that it was not. When you remember they had a $35,000 budget and the whole thing was staged, it's just a really long and boring version of Ghost Hunters.

it is an ok movie.
not too scary, but some parts will make the hair on the back of your neck stand up.
i liked it considering it was a low budget film which implemented two unknown actors who used improv to do the movie.
there was NO script! ^^

The only reason I liked it was because I watched it with three other girls, we had a few beers in us, and by the end we were screaming and rolling around on the ground because of the last five minutes. When I watched it in the daylight, sober, it wasn't nearly as scary. But still a pretty good movie, haha.
