Wait for it....wait for it...*smacks forehead with a resounding thud* I hope they know what they're doing.

We're probably going to get stuck with some kind of cliffhanger at the end of this movie if there's another one coming out after this. Smells like the PoTC version of the two part ending to Harry Potter, lol.

I haven't watched part one of the final movie, and wont watch part two. Wont watch them both until they're out on DVD, that way I don't have to go through suspense. I really hate suspense.
And if PotC does that, I'll be slightly annoyed, but eh. I'm not the director so...

I don't mind the suspense... I know what happens. But I will be annoyed if they do that with POTC....

Suspense is a pet peeve of mine. If I'm watching a movie at home or at a friends, I always look online to see how it ends that way I'm not surprised. <_<;;

Lol. I'm horrible that way too. I read the last pages of books before I'll even consider taking them out from the library or buying them. I'd also stalk the internet for the endings to all the animes that I used to watch (I'm not really into anime anymore). I hate the idea of wasting so much of my life only to have a bad ending (at least one that I consider bad). If I want a tragic ending I want to know it's coming. I get enough of the sad stuff in real life to be surprised by it time and time again in fictional works.

I do the same thing about books. But the only series I actually read all the way through without reading the endings is Dan Brown's series "Angels and Demons", "Da Vince Code", and "The Lost Symbol". Those are the only times, because it's some-what suspenseful but not too much where I don't want to look up a spoiler.

Ah, the only good one from those three was Angels and Demons... but that's off topic... soo, pirates these days?

About book reading. I read the PotC books about Jack when he was a teenager.
They were good. c:

That'd be really random. What are they called? I should get my hands on them.

Haha. I saw those in my library a few years ago but could never bring myself to pick them up. I'm actually surprised you said they were good. Usually spin-offs aren't. *shudders at memories*

The books are called Pirates of the Caribbean: Jack Sparrow. They're meant for children in middle school or so, but they gave me an interest. It actually explains the origin of Jacks hat. Sadly I didn't read the last book because my friend who owned them went off to college. D:

They're quick reads too. Like, two or three hours for each book for me, because I was being distracted. xD

Orlando Bloom is not in it D: I'm watching it but not with high hopes. Jack's female lead reminds me of that girl from Sinbad.

Aye. And he was one smexy elf. *eyebrow waggle*

I have to agree with the "Penelope Cruz looking like the chick from Sinbad" thing. I'm a little bit worried about her to be honest. It's not that I don't like Penelope, but the commercials make her role look like she's just in there as a sex symbol to draw men. Like PoTC needed any help bringing in the male audience, though, lol. I'm interested to see what her exact role in the movie will be. I've heard that she's an antagonist to Jack. As long as she's not an airheaded bimbo that's only in the movie for boob shots, we'll be good. ;)

Also...it explains Jack's hat? *looks for books in all libraries frantically* Hehe.

I think, from what I know so far, is that she was part of Jacks past, like a lover of some kind, but obviously Jack did something and now she's angry at him, and that she is trying to find the fountain for herself, or is trying to bring down her dad, Black Beards.
This movie is loosely based off of a book, but I cant remember the title.

Yup, that's the one.
I'm wondering if I should read the book to get a glimpse of what the movie will be -loosely- about.

I'd read the thing if I had the time. Unfortunately college is college and I barely have time to read all the stuff in my text books. Ugh.
