Like the title says, what is your favorite 90's cartoon? It can be from any country (seeing as this site is universal. haha).

Mine is Swat Kats, it's a Hanna and Barbera cartoon. I was highly addicted to this show when I was growing up and was so upset when the canceled it (they claimed it was a bad influence for children, but if you watch it, it's litttle diffrent than any super hero animation. The two main characters were vigalanty jet pilots (and also knew standard comabtive skills) and protected their city from evil villians).

My favorite 90's cartoon was (and is) Batman: The Animated series. This cartoon started a long line of really excellent cartoons done by Paul Dini and Bruce Timm: Superman, Batman Beyond, Justice League and the new movies that have been coming out. I have always been a big fan of this cartoon and when they released it on DVD, I bought it all and kept up with the whole universe. I think the best thing about this is that they kept the world continuous between the series- so you could actually follow the plot from one cartoon to the next.

I am also a big fan of Daria and secretly a fan of Beavis and Butthead.

Some of the newer 90's cartoons I miss are Cow and Chicken and Dexter's Laboratory. I don't know what it was about Cow and Chicken, but it really amused me with its completely off the wall humor.

@ Kole - haha. I had liked Sailor Mood, but can't say I loved it. I remember really enjoying the first season, but then I started hating it because in every season beyond that Reni (chibi moon, whatever you like calling her XP ) was prancing around being a snot nosed brat from hell.... needless to say I hated her XP

Freakazoid was, hands down, my favorite childhood show. <33

TMNT was a close second. I had my parents buy me all the action figures growing up. Too bad I sold them all. ;~; I also recall drop kicking a kid back in grade school because I thought I was a ninja turtle myself. D;

Then there was:
Out of the Box (not a cartoon, but still worth mentioning).
Bear in the Big Blue House.
PBJ Otter.
Darkwing Duck.
Ducktales.
Gargoyles.
Ed Edd n' Eddy.
Johnny Bravo.
Courage the Cowardly Dog.
The Powerpuff Girls.
I Am Weasel.
Two Stupid Dogs.
Dexter's Laboratory.
Cow & Chicken.
Time Squad.
Thundercats (Although they were 80's)
Reboot.
Batman Beyond.
Justice League.
Recess.
Pokemon.
The Animaniacs.
Tiny Toon Adventures.
Rocket Power.
As Told By Ginger.
Rupert the Bear.
Little Bear.

And you just reminded me of Swat Kats. I use to watch that show all the time. :3
It's been so long...

I could go on. I watched all the cartoon stations: Disney, Nick, CN, and Kids WB.

The 90's had the best cartoon shows, in my humble opinion. The best decade for television. <33

@ Dainty Cut Throat - haha. Ya, I liked a lot of those cartoons too. I was more or less looking for what everyones single favorite was, but I've been the only one to do that so far XD

I was into

Sailor Moon (ONLY the first season though, hated all the rest because of Reni/chibi Moon)
Rugrats
Reboot (really really loved this one actually)
Pokemon
Ed Edd n' Eddy
Dextor's lab
Gargoyles
Ducktales
Talespin
Gundam Wing
DBZ

Heh, I got a little carried away. I'm a bit infatuated with my nostalgic memories. ;DD Plus I thought, "Hey, a list people can look through to see if they recall any of these shows."

I remember actually making the SM wands from the series and ran around the neighborhood claiming I was Sailor Mars. Although, I was the same case. Stopped watching once Reni showed up. Or was it Neptune and Uranus...? Hm.

And DBZ. Oh man. The boys at school would completely ignore me whenever they talked about that show and I tried to join in. Apparently girls couldn't be fans of DBZ. D:<

Reboot was such a good series. I loved how it stuck out from the Toonami line-up at the time. And now that I re-watch it, I understand more of the computer savvy puns in the dialogue. <33

hm.. favorite 90's cartoon... gosh that's a hard. Here's a few:
Rocko's Modren Life
Aladdin the series (Loved and still do love Charlie Adler)
Sailor Moon
Free Willy the series
X-Men
X-Men Evolution (Not sure if it was 90's or if it came out early 2000)

I think all the rest of my favorites are 80's.

Another favorite was actually Captain Planet because it was all about going green and saving the environment. I was an environmentalist when I was a little kid — the natural world fascinated me. I was reading books before I could read, looking at the pictures of animals and flowers.

I liked the rings of power and how the summoned captain planet.

@ FAGGY CHAN - haha, ya there are a lot of great and memorable 80's cartoons (Alvin and the Chipmunks :D ), but I feel like the 90's was the last great decade for television cartooning (there are very few 21st century cartoons I have found appealing - Avatar: The Last Airbender is one of those rare few) and was just wondering what one's people loved from that finale decade of it.

Batman the Animated Series. Batman has always been my favorite hero because he's basically just a guy who wanted to fight crime and did. The fact that he was extremely smart and had billions to blow a bat-shaped boomerangs just made it so he didn't look like an idiot doing it.

Dagget was always my fave for some reason. lol

Another show I really loved was called The Sifl and Olly Show, it wasn't really a cartoon, it started sock puppets, but it was funny and awesome!!!
