Prince Naveen is now officially my favorite Disney male hero. Phoebus used to be my favorite, but now I adore Naveen.
And Dr. Facilier is pretty cool and all but I wouldn't say he's my favorite villain-because I love Gaston, Ratcliffe, Frollo, and Jafar just as much! But I think a witch doctor was definitely a cool idea for a villain, that's for sure.
Also, Mama Odie = <3333

Hope to see this lol
I really don't go out to see movies. But I am sure my mom will get the DVD when it comes out.
I saw the doll of Triana at the store, and I plan to get it. It is very cute and detailed.

I loved this movie so very much! I think it might even be my all time favorite Disney movie. I liked the fact that it was one of the only Disney movies that was set in an identifiable time period and an actual real place. For me it just made the movie seem so much easier to relate to. I just can't stop watching it! =3

I think the racism stuff is total bs. Disney is trying to do something for once. Most of the princess, with the exception of probably Jasmine went through lots of crap. Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, even Ariel who reached for a dream but was told she can't.
To me, the princess are role models, and they show that no matter where you come from or what your background is, you can achieve whatever you want to if you try.
And then some are grumbling about the prince not being black and his skin color more of a tan-ish color. I'm like wtf? Are you saying that people should choose significant others depending on color of their skin? >__>;

I've heard those complaints as well and I think they're just nonsense! I think it was well done and inspirational, no matter what color anyone is. :D
