I am a huge fan of the Maximum Ride series (books)! I have read all of them that are currently out, including the manga. :P So I'm am so totally psyched about the movie coming out in "2010". I was curious to see if others were too! :P

@Earth i have read one of the manga book's i also know there are novels as well and i didn't know there was going to movie awesome now i am excited too. :hug:

Lol, I was actually pretty happy that the manga followed the books pretty closely. :) It's just the manga covers a VERY small part of the first book. :P

I saw the Manwah of it, and thought it did a pretty good job summing up things. Though I dislike Fang's design... completely different from what the book describes.

@Bunai: Live action. I'm pretty sure. Which I think is both a good thing and a bad thing. :P And I know! When I saw his design my mouth dropped. :P At first I hated it, but I'm starting to get used to it know. And you should totally get the first one! :P It's the Angel Experiment. ^_^

If you guys got to maximumride.com (I believe) there is a voting thing to vote for who you want to play the characters. Everyone said they want "unknowns" to play the parts, so they were having people upload audition tapes and having other vote. Idk if they've already selected the actors yet, but check it out. :)

I loved the first book...
I saw the manga and was really disgusted. The art was pretty but I felt the characters didn't look right at all.

I just googled maximum ride movie because of this forum the other day and i found this site where its like a fan based voting casting system... It's not official or anything, but the ppl look like the roles and all, have u heard of it?

I loved all the Maximum Ride books (all except The Final Warning) and I can't wait for the movie. As soon as it comes out I'm taking my friend (the one that introduced me to MR) to see it. I just hope the movie doesn't kill the book, like movies so usually do.

EDIT: This might just be a rumor, but I've heard that Robert Pattinson and Kristin Stewart might play Max and Fang. I'm not to excited about that, since it'd be pretty hard for Robert to pass as 14. Of course, it might just be a rumor.

I had no idea they're making a movie! Wow! I can't wait! My fave character is Iggy. He's so funny and stuff. I like Nudge, too. She reminds me alot of me. Ooh, I can't wait! :D

Haha I remember those books! Yeah my friend is a huge fan of them so I've known about them making a movie for it for a while now. I read the first two and I'm unsure about the third. I really liked them from what I remember so I'll probably end up rereading them >w< My friend has read all of the books and the manga. I was going to get her the manga for her birthday, or something, but she already got it the day before, lol, when it first came out. I'd definately like to see the movie when it comes out. I think its a great idea to use 'unknowns' for it. I doubt I could watch a well-known actor/actress play the parts without looking at it funny.
