The Wizard of Oz was a cute lil movie, and it's been along time since the last time I saw it. That would have been the time that my sister and her friends tried to play a Pink Floyd album to it.

All in all, I enjoy the story, but the songs were so-so in my opinion.

Wow it has been 70 years! I remember watching it when I was a kid and being freak out by the witch. I think this movie is a classic. Everybody knows this movie or at least seen it one time. Also this movie has been remade so many times in different things. Like the broadway play Wicked or the syfy remake Tinman

Awh, I used to watch The Wizard Of Oz all the time when I was little. I also used to be scared of the witch and those monkeys aha.

It's one of my favorite movies. I'm also a fan of Syfy's version of the story.

I just watch some of this movie the other night. It's so weird watching it now and watching it as a child. As a child I was afraid of the witch I felt it was horriable how the witch was trying to get the ruby red slippery. As I watching it a couple nights ago I could not help laughing on how cheesy some of the special effects were. Like the house being caught up in the twister. It's still a great movie. Also I am wondering if anybody actually read the book? I never did but I am thinking about reading it.

I always used to love the Wizard of Oz, I think my favorite character was the Scarecrow. I was so weird when I was younger, I wanted the Scarecrow to end up with Dorthy. XD

Wow, it's really that old? I didn't know that! xD;

We used to watch it allllll the time, but just like in the Chronicles of Narnia, my sister keeps on falling asleep before we get to the middle of the film. (And she's a teenager lol)

The most annoying thing in that movie, I think, was the flying monkeys. I was just like, 'wtf' why lol', and they were just so distracting.. I think I even had nightmares with them in it. ROFL /floats away

i love the Wizard of Oz. it's an awesome movie. i think the first time i watched it, i was 3 years old, and i'd never seen a movie that was black and white before, even tho it's not fully black and white. also, at my high school, they did a play on Wizard of Oz. they did really good on it. the best was probably the guy who played the cowardly lion. he did a great job. i'm glad he did, cuz i always loved the lion. he was so adorable.
i remember while i was watching the play, one of my friends asked one of the elementary teachers why she never let us watch the movie, and she said she thought it'd be too scary for little kids. that's crazy isn't it!?
