What're your favorite Zombie flick?
Least favorite/worst?
Last saw?
Goriest?
My personal favorite Zombie flick would have to be Dawn of the Dead, the remake. Over all, I think the idea of having gone to the mall was pretty stupid. But, if it worked out for them then cool. I must say that if the Zombie apocolypse were to actually happen, that'd be one of the last places I'd go. The Mall along side the Hospital or the Police Department. But over all, it was pretty sweet.
The worst Zombie film I've ever saw would have to be The Zombie Diaries. It hast the BEST zombie gore I've ever seen. However, the acting was absolutely TERRIBLE. I mean, I sat watching the movie and laughing the whole time because of the acting. However, I don't think I'd rank it among my least favorite. Just the worst simply because they couldn't seem to find people with REAL talent to play any of the parts.
Favorite: Dawn of the Dead
Worst: The Zombie Diaries
Goriest: The Zombie Diaries

My most favorite Zombie flick is Day of the Dead.
My worst favorite is Dairy of the Dead.
The Goriest would probably be the original Dawn of the Dead.
I loved Romero's Dead Series and when I got together with my current boyfriend we use to sit down and watch the Dead Series, though I didn't have Land of the Dead. Then while I was in my Community College, I heard that Romero was releasing in theaters the final Dead movie. Diary of the Dead. It was suppose to be the prequel to Night of the Living Dead...so I told my boyfriend and we were soooo exicted. We went to the midnight release and watched it. Sooo waste of my time. Romero went senile in the movie. >.< It was like he wanted to make a video movie because of the hype of Quarantine and ...mind went black...monster movie....ugh...Cloverfield.

I like the new Dawn of the Dead, I thought that movie was well done. Zombie flicks are always a roller coaster ride, and I also like Twenty-Eight Days Later as well. Great movies!!!

I'm currently trying my best to collect as many Zombie flicks as I can. I'm not doing a very good job because I don't have the money to buy any movies. Buuuut, trying it better than giving up. My dream will come true. . . one day. O~O

Yayyy. I LOVE zombies ! Anything about them grabs my attention.
My favorite would have to be the remake of Dawn of the Dead. I haven't watched the entire original yet, but I'm not sure if I would like it as much as the remake. (Which is sad, I know, but I saw the remake first so yeah...)
My second favorite would have to be the 28 Days series. I know it's technically not a zombie film but wutevsss. I LOVE it so much, even though people seem to hate it.
My LEAST favorite (omg I actually HATE this movie so much) is the remake of Day of the Dead. (The one with Nick Cannon) I have never seen the original but if it was anything like the remake, I'd hate it too. I hate how people would instantly become gorified when they turned into a zombie. That was stupid. I also hate how they were like...jumping off of walls. It was just too far-fetched for me to like. I like the more realistic movies.
I'm not really sure which film has the most gore in it. But the one that I remember most for it's gore would have to be....uh. I really DON't know. When I think about it I think of random scenes from various movies. The first one that comes to mine is in 28 Weeks Later when the SPOILER Husband/Dad pushes his wife's eyes in. SPOILER

Have you ever heard of Dead Snow? Its got two of the best things in it: Zombies, and Nazi Zombies. Yes, its a movie about Nazi Zombies. I just recently found in in a store, but havent had the time to watch it. I think thats what I'll do either tomorrow night, or Saturday night. Maybe even Sunday I'll watch it.

Favourite: Resident Evil. Best zombie movie I've ever seen.
Worst: Hm... I'd have to say The Grudge. I consider it a zombie movie because the family is dead. Therefore, zombies. It just wasn't scary at all. Absolutely awful.
Goriest: Flight of the Living Dead. Yes, zombies on a plane. It's a riot.

Oh! I totally forgot about this one! This is one my favorites as well. I can watch it over and over and still love it.
I've never seen the other two, but I heard that Boy Eats Girl is horrible.

I think Romero's were talent at the time. He completely defined that low budget horror movie genre, but I just think they are pretty bad by todays standards (obviously)
I don't think I've ever seen a zombie movie I didn't hate...
Dawn of the Dead was ok I guess, and Zombieland was amusing.

Oh how excellent!
There are so many good ones. I honestly love all Zombie movies I don't care how bad it is. Sometimes I like the bad ones even more because their corniness makes me giggle. :) In fact the fact that you've all listed some you don't like makes me curious to watch them/again.
So what zombie movies have I seen/own? I'll list them all. The ones in bold will be the ones I own dvds for the others are ones I dled because I couldn't find them.
Dawn of the dead | Day of the Dead | Night of the Dead | Land of the Dead | Return of the Living dead | Return of the Living dead 2 | Return of the living dead 3 | Return of the Living Dead 4: Necropolis | Return of the living dead5:Rave to the Grave |
28 days later | 28 weeks later | Resident Evil | Resident Evil apocolpse| Resident Evil extinction | Resident Evil
Zombie Honey Moon | Fido | Zombieland |Shawn of The Dead | Zombie Nurse | Grindhouse |
Movies I'll have to check out now because I just found out about them in this thread:
The Zombie Diaries, Zombie Strippers, Flight of the living dead, Boy Eats Girl

I did like the Dawn of the dead remake, well, more of an homage than a remake. Shawn of the dead was awesome, but Zombieland is my current favorite. I laugh so hard it hurt XD

My all time favorite zombie movie ever would have to be Night Of The Living Dead, but that also has a lot to do with the fact I'm into old school horror movies.
Worst would have to be Shawn of the Dead, or any other comedy zombie movie.
My biggest pet peeve with zombie movies is when it is often confused with infected. While infected movies are still pretty good, for some reason it drives me crazy when people don't realize that the infected are in no way zombies, they're not even dead, just infected.

Favorite zombie movie has to be Land of the Dead. I got it for Christmas one year and fell in love with it.
Worst zombie movie definately goes to Flight of the Living Dead. God that movie was horrid! The acting, the script, the zombies . . . It was more of a joke than a movie!
Goriest I would say goes to Land of the Dead. There is a scene where a zombie is seen eating a man's organs in a very gruesome way. Yech.
@Amelia: So, do you consider the Resident Evil movies to be infected movies? I mean, they're infected with a virus, but in the first movie most of the zombies were really dead. The later movies I could understand being sort of a grey area.

The first movie I would consider them zombies, because they were actually killed first, but the second and third are definitely in a grey area. It does kind of swing both ways, but to me the whole "T-Virus" thing kind of leans it on the infected area for me.

*nods* That sounds like a reasonable categorization. Personally, I consider them all to be infected movies. That's why I didn't list them as my favorites, even though I consider Land of the Dead to be the best that I've seen.

Favorite: Zombieland and Shaun of the Dead
Worst: I can't remember the name of it but it was German. These three guy get hit with some powder to bring the dead to life then they die in a car accident and come back as zombies but they don't want to eat people at first they just get super powers. Then this one kid starts eating people because he was full of hate or something and the other try to stop him. It was really bad. Tell me if you know the name of it.
Goriest: Grindhouse. I also didn't like this one, but the German one is worse.

I'm going to stick with the Resident Evil stuff. I've never been a big horror movie person, but I always loved the game, and then Milla Jovovich is amazing so yeah.
