Smackdown just started here. :)
Is it on right now for you?

----------

How do you feel about Dolph Ziggler? I really hated him at first, but he's kind of grown on me. I like watching him wrestle & he has a pretty nice finisher. I love when the crowd chants "Mr.Ziggles" at him, it's hilarious.

It's not on for another hour.

I kinda miss Zigglers "Hi! I'm Dolph Ziggler" bit. Its was annoying but awesome when he flipped out cause they wouldn't shake his hand. Now if he stays away from the leopard or zebra print shorts he will be taken more seriously. What you may not know is, he was in the Spirit Squad, and he was Chavo's Caddy during his Kerwin White phase.

He got Released in other words fired, probably for the fact he got arrested last month.

Whattt D: That's horrible. I actually liked Maria a little too. She's a bit ditzy & crackwhore looking. But she's fun to watch. I'm guessing she was let go too?

Yes. Maria, Paul, and Hurricane have been let go. Paul they seriously dropped the ball with. Katie Lea survives cause shes immensely over with the audience. I'll admit I'm shallow and just find her pretty with her make up and cool hair.

Haha, that's fine though. You're a guy & thats why they have Divas, for you to look at. I'm barely watching Smackdown right now. It's being really boring.

I stopped watching around the Divas match. I don't like the whole Diva scene. I watched the main event though. Somewhat.

I read spoilers so I rarely hold interest anymore. I only watch for Morrison's matches. And occasional other good matches. But McCool has BURIED the Divas on Smackdown. Maryse is more interesting and she talks in french 90% of the time! McCool without a title is just unnecessary, or unneeded. There are divas with more talent than her, who don't rip off AJ Styles and not even remember his name.

Do you think anyone else will end up in this thread? I hope a few more people would show up. Not that I don't enjoy talking to you.

so i don't watch wwe anymore these days... for about 5 years i was a die hard fan... that was back in 1999 until about 2003... i turned my family onto the wrestling scene and we got the pay-per-views monthly... i was a huge jeff hardy fan (i adored him and i was lita for halloween one year:P)... and since i am from maine and a proud redneck i was also a stone cold steve austin fan... i knew all the wrestling moves and did them on my brothers too (:XP)
so i kind of stopped watching it when they left... but i really loved it... i wanted to be one! lol

anyhoo... i don't know the newer people... but... yea... go, wrestling!

I tuned out during the Lesnar era and most of the Attitude Era. I never really saw the appeal of Lesnar. I guess during AE cause of HBK I built a like for the smaller more showy wrestlers. I watched sporadically up til 2008 when I saw Evan Bourne, I never heard of the Shooting Star Press and I thought it was the coolest move. Up til then the longest I watched was when Morrison was ECW champion, a great time to watch.

I like the current era, Punk is a master of the mic. He may not be able to use the strong language he used in ROH but he's still great. That is why I enjoy CM Punk so much. I think the upcoming era change is shaping to be something good. Morrison, Punk, Miz, Kofi, Ziggler, McIntyre, Sheamus, Bourne, Vance Archer, Yoshi Tatsu, and a few others will make up the who's who.

I have to say the segment with Cheech and Chong back stage with the cereal was funny.

I thought it was pretty lame. I was hoping that they would be getting high or something. Instead they just eat cereal? That's just disappointing to their fans.

Well its PG. No pot jokes allowed. I liked the bit with Katie Lea and Yoshi with mustaches! It was out there.

I don't know why Cheech and Chong would be there, without any mention of marijuana. I don't think wrestling should be PG, it shouldn't be something kids are watching. I hope it doesn't stay PG forever, because then it's just not worth it.

It's all about cultivating the next era of marks and smarks. The Smarks are what they want though they stick through thick and thin.

I couldn't disagree more with that. It's the smarks that generally get bored and put off with badly thought and poorly implemented storylines, improperly used characters and generally shitty programming.

It's the marks that sell out the TV tapings, buy the merch and line the pockets.

But Marks have a 50% chance of not adopting their next favorite. I've dealt with the Hulkamaniacs and the Batista fans who think these men are the be all end all of wrestling. The Smarks I mean are the kind who like the people who put on good matches. The ones who can like Punk with out whining about how he kicked Jeff off Smackdown. The kind of smarks Im talking about are the ones who knew who Bryan Danielson or Sheamus were before they came to the WWE. The Marks tend to hate on talented wrestlers just because they happen to be heels. When I say Smarks I don't mean the IWC trolls who hate anyone they view as overrated.

Being a mark for an indy promotion or talent doesn't make you a smark. :)

I know that. But I have dealt with the fools who tear down high fliers which are my favorite aspect of wrestling anymore. Those are the bad smarks. But a few of my friends who like wrestling are smarks. I would rather have arguments about how my friend thinks Morrison is overrated than go through another argument with a friend who hates Punk because hes a good heel.

Yes, that's what you want, but not particularly what the WWE wants. They want someone they can lead by the nose, who likes the faces, and hates the heels (but likes the heels enough to buy the merch) and buys tickets and occasionally PPVs.

Most smarks will watch the free shows on TV, download the PPV and ignore the merch. It's the nature of being a smark. :)

I'm a bit of a smark. And I would go to the events if I had the money. And didn't live in Colorado. We get a live event like once a year.
