Repo Men
No, it's not out yet, but it is something I'm interested in.
It does make me a little sad though because it's like the "lame" version of Repo! The Genetic Opera. D; By lame, I mean I prefer it to be musical and all. Repo! The Genetic Opera is not very popular with many people and my family refuses to watch it with me (they do like musicals) but they want to see Repo Men... :/ Sadness... I do really want to see it though. xD It's got Jude Law in it which makes me super happy and I'm interested in to know what the story line has to offer. What do you think about it? Would you prefer to see this over Repo! The Genetic Opera... And what about all those people that want to see Repo Men so bad, but don't even know about Repo! The Genetic Opera and that it's the same concept? D: |
It's pretty much the same case my friend had the other day. He started writing this amazing story about a woman who delivered things from planet to planet, but was about to retire. Then he later bought a book that had the same exact character. Dx
Anyways, I've seen both movies and I liked Repo Men more. The story is predictable, but it's interesting and I enjoyed the gore. Usually gore seems pointless, but I think this movie fit it better, with the ripping out parts and all. There's a few things that makes me mad, like the twist that you see coming near the beginning of the movie. I think Jude Law was great in it! The action sequences were believable, and his fake non-British accent is getting better. I wish there was more action. Since the story wasn't that great and you pretty much knew what was going to happen, I wish it could have just been like a Rambo type thing. Not exactly Rambo, but you know what I mean. |

which is sad because repo is still a fairly new movie. hollywood needs to start being more original! :gonk: i don't think i'm going to support this movie at all. i may rent it from redbox when it comes out on dvd though. |
Yeah, I wish people would happen to give Repo! The Genetic Opera a try if they think this is so awesome.
I do still want to see it though, like I said: I love Jude Law a LOT. xDD |
Haha, I was seeing a movie with a friend and her dad, and a preview for Repo Men came on, and her dad said, "Oh this is awesome" and I wanted to slap him and shove the Genetic Opera in his face. Heard Repo Men wasn't terribly good, though.

I saw this movie and hated it. Jude Law was great, but the story was weak and boring.
I also hated the plot twists. The first one you could see coming from a mile away and the other one was an annoying haha-we-got-you one at the end. |
Should stamp nice big red RETARDED on Repo Men. The only reason that shitstorm got the press that it did is because Jude Law was in it.
