Happens to me all the time, I find a show I like and find it was cancled and they don't even have the DVD set out to rent or buy.

I know this frustration all too well. I've just stopped watching tv all together, I just assumed it was some sort of curse I was inflicting on these poor sitcoms. :s If I find anything interesting, I'll watch it later online. x]

Toonami(sp) though not really a show, it was an interesting short that lead to a canceling of a lot of good shows, as well as a future line up of them. However, I have found a few good shows that have shown up on CN, I feel sorry that future generation must rot their minds on the crap that's not only showing up on CN, but many of the other networks. I still bother watching, cause I plan on working with animation, and I like to study what's out there in that category.

Which newly canceled shows and remakes are you referring to? You worded that kind of like you were being specific.

And Pushing Daisies is just one of the many, many, many shows they have canceled within the last several years that I watched them. I get tired of them starting new shows and then canceling them after only one season because they do it almost constantly. The only shows that remain constant on there are Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, and Desperate Housewives. Another show that used to be constant was Ugly Betty, but they decided to cancel that one this year. All their other shows are brand new and going to get canceled after only one season or two. It's what they do.

Which is good news for you really because I bet Cougar Town will be canceled too. It has its funny moments, but I agree that ABC has had better shows definitely in recent history and that shouldn't have replaced those. Although I think its more of a replacement of Samantha Who, which I was relieved got canceled after only one season last year. The poor storylines and attempts at comedy remind me of Samantha Who a lot. I wouldn't be surprised if it was all the same writers who did both.

I sadly did not watch Firefly when it was on tv but was introduced to it by my husband (huge Joss Whedon fan) and when we finished the dvds I couldn't help but get mad that it had been canceled.

BEYOND ANNOYING! None of them seem to do too good! They were good the first time around but anyone who was a fan more then likely won't enjoy the cheap remake of it. Hawaii 5-0 REALLY?!?

Alot of my favorite shows ended this year....
