Iron Man 2
 

So, I didn't see another thread about this movie. >.>

Well, I was sorta wondering if any other Menes planned on seeing it or have already, and your thoughts on it.

Personally, I really enjoyed it. I don't read the Iron Man comics so I don't know if they were being faithful to the character and story and all that, but I really do like how they flesh out Tony Stark. And it helps that I think Robert Downey Jr. is quite nice lookin'.

I also thought it was really realistic in how it dealt with Iron Man's noteriety in the world that the movie created, especially with dealing with the political figures featured. I think the only other superhero movie that really dealt well with the political/legal ramifications of vigilantism was The Dark Knight. Right off the top of my head - so feel free to correct me if you believe I'm wrong - I'm pretty sure that most other superhero movies glossed over this aspect of the situation.

Anyway, y'all's thoughts?

I plan on seeing it, but havent had the chance(or money) to do so. I will see it, in theaters, eventually.

I have seen it and it was pretty good I haven't read the comic books either but whiplash was one way cool badguy I won't reveal anything for those who haven't seen it but I think you will like it.

@Sho: The Sneek Peek at the end of the movie is actually for an up coming picture: Thor. He was one of the original Avengers hence the reason they keep bringing it up. the hammer belongs to Thor.

it was not as good as Iron Man 1 i think but...it was still pretty epic and they showed the big weakness of Stark that he has in the comic books. Alcoholism. Actually in the comics the first time War Machine was introduced was because Tony gave him the armor when he descended into a huge binge and became even more incompetent than he was in the movie so i think that was pretty true

I really enjoyed the suit case transformation scene. o.o
To me it looked like a transformers taken over his body xD
The russian guy was really creepy... and the other guy seemed like a douche...

My friends work at the cinema so i really hope they can give me some posters they have!

I loved it. I recommend it to anyone who has seen the first one. It's a good movie.

I want to see it. Since it seems that the sequel has more action than the first one.
I'm still annoyed that they switched the actor for War Machine though.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of switching actors around, but they usually have good reasons for doing something like that. Either the actor's schedule conflicts or the actor doesn't want to do the movie anymore. I don't remember what their reason for Iron Man 2 was though.

My mom and I saw Iron Man2 when it started playing at the movie theater and it was a really good movie. The first Iron Man movie was pretty good, but Iron Man2 was even better! It was a really cool movie!
