lol, I didn't know that....but I never really paid too much attention to the actual season beginnings and ends. I just watch when they are on and dont when they are not. xP

Ugh. I cannot wait for it! Hurry up and be January! XD |
I watch all of USA's shows because I think the writers for all of them are fantastic.
While Psych is still my favorite USA show (and my favorite show of all time for that matter), White Collar still rates a really high second. They had me from the first episode. The relationship between Neal and Peter is one of the best written that I've ever seen and is the reason that I look forward to each episode. I can't wait until it starts back up in January. |
I like most of USA's shows too. Although I'll admit that I really dislike Psyche... But anyway, yeah, I like the dynamic between Neal and Peter. If you tried to describe it to someone it would sound lame and hokey, bit the writers pull it off. In fact... the whole premise of White Collar sounds pretty cliche (ex-con now working for the feds), but they do it really well.
Burn Notice is my second favorite for USA. Royal Pains, I like, but it's a little weak. |
I can't really get into Royal Pains...I much prefer White Collar, In Plain Sight and Psych.
But White Collar is definitely me and the bf's favorite show to watch together. We both agreed we'd be pissed if
Mozzie is dead.
|
My cable summer schedule consisted of White Collar, Burn Notice, Covert Affairs, and then scooting across the dial for Rizzoli & Isles.

Monstahh - Don't worry, I don't think that'd happen. See below.
SPOILERThough, honestly, TV's more fun before you recognize those patterns. :( Saisei - ... Whooooaaa. Of those, I only watch White Collar and Burn Notice, so I didn't notice the pattern because they ended at different times. But... wow. |
@Cherry- good logic
but you made a valid point....TV is more fun before you know the patterns. |

Who else saw the new season's first episode and is kindof disappointed with it?
It was kindof a let down. I felt like some of the characters were a bit out of character, and it was just all over the place, and it all felt like there was too little actual substance to the episode, and that it was mostly filler. |
i love this show!!! im so glad mozies not dead!!! ;A; i was so freaked at the end of the last season!!! oh and matt bomer is hawt~ ;)

SPOILER |
Ooh, yay, did it start back up? I'll try not to be scared by monstahh's impression of it. To hulu!

I don't think they were going for shocking. It was more of a vehicle for them to do a one or two episode origin piece on Neal, plus introduce a new villain that they can cliffhang when the season ends properly after this little five-episode bridge.
|
I actually enjoyed the episode that aired last week. I thought it had all the usual charm plus a little bit of danger. Although, I will add the beginning was a tad underplayed. It almost made the stopping point of the previous episode seem far less terrifying.
I will admit, I found Burke on a horse to be enjoyable. I also liked how Neal was behaving himself; jail-Neal is never any fun. Wild and free Neal is wayyyy more spontaneous. :D |

I've watched it again, and it's not as bad as I initially felt, but...I still am disappointed. xD SaiSei - Yeah, perhaps. But, I still feel like as a season intro, I guess, it should have been more exciting. xD;;;; It doesn't draw me back into the show. Especially not after that season finale. D: ! |
I watched it early on it was good for a while but now I do not watch it.
|
How did you stop!? I'm like... addicted to it. X3

USA did the same thing with Burn Notice to very good effect, and they're doing it with Royal Pains, too. |
Leverage as well did the same thing I do believe.
|
Yeah, except TNT just ran what basically boiled down to two episodes of Leverage, so it was a lot shorter than what USA is doing.
I wish TNT would've done that with Rizzoli and Isles, too, but that's another topic entirely. |
I think the after split was just 3 episodes in the US.
The Christmas episode....and the two episodes on Monroe. |
Yeah, but the Moreau episodes were back-to-back, basically making them one long episode, so I was just calling it two.
We are seriously digressing from the point of the topic, however. Does anyone think Neal was telling the truth about his father at the end of yesterday's episode? |
