Best movie out right now?

I'm thinking about going to the movies..but I don't know what to watch..

What's the best movie that's out right now and why?

I haven't been the the movie theatres in a long time due to money complaints, but I have heard that Inception was an awesome movie. If you are more into the comedy animation movies then Despicable Me is the movie for you. If you are more intro "trend movies," and you like Twilight then Vampires Suck is coming out on the 18th if you're willing to wait.

My friend also "kidnapped" me, and we went to go and see Scott Pilgram vs. The World. It was a pretty good movie, and it was very imaginative. It depends on what you want to go see though.

(Nobody Shoot me!) Eclipse was surprisingly good. It amused me anyways. If you don't like the series you can always drag along a hater friend, just for lols.

Despicable Me was cute, funny, and it had a good plot to me.

I haven't been to the movies in such a long time, other than seeing the Last Airbender which everyone really gave such a shitty rating which I liked it. I haven't watched the series so I really can't give a good opinion whereas others who have seen the series say it is not good and they were truly appalled and the director should never do anymore movies again period end of story too bad lol!!! They feel very strongly about this obviously. Then again my opinion just goes to show you that you can't go on what others say necessarily.

I was kind of curious about the Sorcerrores Apprentice with Nicholas Cage in it. It looks to have some pretty cool movies special effects but then again there have been movies where the effects are good but unfortunately that is usually about all that's good about it because I really would like to go see it, but now it's just a matter of debating on whether I really want to spend ten dollars to go see it now... hmmmmm which should I do... well that's my thoughts on movies out at the moment so good luck and I hope you watch a really good movie and enjoy it for the price that it costs to go out to see movies in the theatre these days... absolutely horrendous!!

The Nicolas Cage film (Sorcerer's Apprentice) was great. I loved it. You should definitely see that!

I saw Inception, and omg...should've brought a barfbag. The only thing that movie did was make me dizzy. The people who watch it and say WOW THAT WAS AWESOME are total d-bags... or they're just trying to follow the *cool people that pretend to know about stuff that makes no sense* trend.

I've waited forever to go see Eclipse. Everytime I try to see it, there are swarms of obnoxious girls. :/

Salt looks kind of good? I don't know. Might be more of a watch-at-home type of movie.

You know what, I think I may just break down and go see the Sorccerer's Apprentice. It looks really good. Now all I need to do is wait until next time I get paid again. I'm kinda low on my dough here if you know what I mean...lol

Have you watched inception? I love that movie. It's confusing, but it ended up being amazing.

Nevermind, I saw what you said about inception, Varuna. I really disagree. I think it was really well done, and I'm not just following what other people say. The whole concept was amazing, other than the concept of dream time. That was a bit confusing, and a little bit of a deus ex machina. The acting was great, and Leo did a good job playing a brooding theif. The character structure was good, and the character back-story was incredible. Even the side characters had a back-story. The romance was just right. It didn't go over board, but it planted an idea of a pairing in your mind (Talking about Arthur and the not-molly girl).

Scott Pilgrim was awesome! I totally recommend it. It's totally nerdy and I loved it. I want to see it again, and I totally think it's worth paying for to see in the theaters.

Inception was okay. I wasn't impressed with it really. I was expecting more. The dream building stuff is cool, but it really didn't mess with my mind as much as I expected it to. I should have gone into it with lower expectations -- then maybe I would have liked it more. I like Leo and all, but I was pretty meh about it in general.

:O I WANT TO SEE SCOTT PILGRAM SO BAD!

I love the main actor SO hard.

SO hard. <3 <3 <3

This x100000. :(
I was hoping for soo much more with this movie, especially after listening to Leo talk on Kevin & Beane about it. He also said on the show that it can get "confusing" as to knowing which dream they're in at times or something and that the easy way to differentiate between when they change dreams is that they change shoes, though I didn't see that at all. But yeah, it just wasn't what I was hoping for in terms of making me THINK. Not to mention I feel like there were a few flaws with the general storyline and that there was too too too much attention on Leo's character and not enough on Ellen's. [spoiler!!]What was the point of having her choose an item to take with her if she never used it?![/spoiler]

BUT ANYWAY. My boyfriend loved it, as did many others. If you don't look too deep into things, Inception may be a good choice.
Scott Pilgrim was good, too, but IMHO, Michael Cera was terrible. Still a cute movie.
I heard that Switch was good, and Dinner For Shmucks... was HILARIOUS. And I don't even like Steve Carrell. Great movie, stupid humor, see with friends. :D
