avatar or twilight
which one do you guys think is better avatar or twilight?i like avatar better.

I don't think they're comparable at all. One is a teen romance, the other is a Ferngully-based sci-fi action movie.

Avatar, but I'm not sure they can really be compared. For example one of them uses good special effects and the other uses glitter...

That truly is a strange combination to compare. :lol: They don't really target the same audience.
Given the choice, I'd easily pick Avatar. Avatar was far from perfect, but for any areas where Avatar failed, I'd say that Twilight failed even harder... (No offense to the fans, it's just not my cup of tea.) |
I agree that you really can not compare two different movies like that. Avatar was better written and the movie was pretty good. Twilight I was less than thrilled with with both the book and the movie.

Avatar, even though it was just Pocahontas/Ferngully in space. Its plot is lacking, and the characters have no depth. And yet the graphics were amazing and the colorful world and creatures were interesting. Despite its drawbacks, I enjoyed Avatar. Twilight on the other hand... all it's done is create rabid fangirls. |
Personally I don't prefer one over the other.
It's just not comparable because one is a sci-fi/fantasy and the other is a romance/fantasy. Both are fantasy's, yes. But it's like apples and oranges. I enjoyed the Twilight books much more than the movies and the Avatar movie was extremely overrated...and it was very long winded....I was like "When will it end??!!" So yeah, I can't choose....Completely indecisive. |

Two completely different things...but I really loved Avatar. It was beautiful. Very long, yes. Predictable, yes. But beautiful and moving nonetheless. Twilight, on the other hand...well, I only saw the first movie and that's enough for me. Not going to watch the remaining parts even if I'm bored out of my mind. I'd rather attempt to learn Russian using only a dictionary. :P

They don't have much in common but yeah they're both love stories and they are not talking about humans. I think that avatar is better, it's not all about the love story and the actors are better. I liked the quality of the movie. That's proably why it was one of the best movie ever.
