Sora just saw Megamind last night in 3D and it just BLEW his mind! 8DD
The voice acting was great, the plot and story was so darn good, and of course, graphics were awesome!

anybody else see this AWESOME SAUCEM movie?!

i haven't seen it yet, but i've heard it's really good. at first, i didn't want to see it, but now i do.

I just watched it last weekend with my girlfriends and it was so good! I didn't watch it in 3D because we weren't able to get tickets for that, the cinema was soooo packed!

The funny thing about the movie was probably not because of the movie itself but because my friends and I had alcohol before the movie so everything despite some of the jokes being lame, was still funny! And I think we probably annoyed a lot of the people in the cinema by putting in lines of our own.

It's really not your regular kind of fun family cartoon movie because it makes you think a bit. Not just the beginning, plot and end. the plot is pretty twisted and at times you think it will end differently, but then it takes a turn and you'd be like, 'HUH?'

I definitely recommend it! Its a unique plot and probably the next best 3D cartoon in recent times compared to 'how to train your dragon.'

OMG! Sora's taking everybody that wants to go XDD

and Sora agrees, it really is unique, which makes it that much awesomer.
Sora's friends and him were actually talking about how Dreamworks has really been doing great with great movies coming out! 8DD

But seriously, EVERYTHING in that movei appealed to me. Anti-villains (or is he an anti-hero? I can't tell the difference?) have ALWAYS been my favourite characters of all time. I loved the animation in it, I loved the voice actors and most of all I LOVED MEGAMIND!! He's such a great guy, despite being evil.

Sorry for hte long rant but as I've said before I LOVE THIS MOVIE :D

megamind was one of the deepest characters i have yet seen, dreamworks is my favorite production company for the sole reason that disney went down the tube in 2002 (my opinion) and dreamworks hasn't been lacking in the EPIC!

Megamind was amazing! I saw it last weekend finally. It was almost cuter than Dispicable Me... almost but not quite ^.-

Sora agrees that Dreamworks has been doing a real good job lately..............but then he saw Tangled and that movie wasn't bad either...........WAY better than Sora had thought XP

but YAY! Sora loves How To Train Your Dragon even more now since he found out that Gerard Butler (favorite actor) played the dad!

xD i love, love, LOVE HTTYD :D. Hiccup is adorable.

I loved megamind because he seemed like my perfect type of character to work with. He's got layers; sometimes he's happy and confident, but more often than not he's lonely, depressed, and insecure :)

funny how so many movies nowadays have to do with blue people......Sora's getting scared by the Smurf movie coming out soon >.<

i agree with sora :yes: i am not looking forward to the smurfs or :shudder: yogi bear. i HATE yogi... he's so stupid, there never seemed to be a point to him IMO- he bothers me and makes me want to hurt people. >.< but the smurfs i've never actually taken the time to watch, they just looked stupid :sweat:

and GEEZ! how they killed yogi bear.......Sora swears hollywood needs to just make new movies, not old shows or anything like that....I mean we have a great example: MEGAMIND!
Sora doesn't think he came from a book and it's not a remake of anything......it was made out of thin air and it's a HIT!

i thought that was one of the best movies that characterized the evil that America (or just people in general) are sometimes. i loved how it was all told from Jake's Point of View, that made it much more personal and easier for me to make a connection with the avatar... but i think we've strayed off topic. maybe i should make an Avatar thread? :sweat:

is he the guy who played Jake? because i thought he did terrific... or do you mean the dude who played the general or whatever? yeah he was a nasty son of a bitch wasn't he?! i think that was one of the movies where i really liked the environmentalists, but i just generally disapprove of america's ways and the world's lack of crack down on preserving the planet we've totally destroyed.

My obsession of this movie led me to this, I'm too excited not to share it XD I also was driven to find it on the internet because I couldn't wait for DVD XD
