French Films
I recently got netflix and have really gotten into French films.
I saw Jeux D'enfants (or "Love Me If You Dare" in English) and Water Lilies. I'm going to be watching Amelie and Au Revoir Les Enfants How about everyone else? Are you into French films? Any you love and/or hate? Any you recommend? |
I LOVED Amelie! The colors in that film are sooo beautiful! Such a cute story too. I can't eat creme brulee' without thinking of it.

I've heard a lot of good things about Amelie, but haven't gotten around to seeing it. I've been told that it's one of those hate-it-or-love-it movies though. What do you think?

I think if you don't like artsy or foreign films, you won't like it. If you don't mind artsy films, or reading subtitles, you'll love it:)

Amelie is such a cute film. I absolutely loved it, and it was the first French film that I had ever watched. Ever since, I have made it my goal to watch films from all over the world. I have since discovered that some French horror films can be very disturbing, especially Martyrs and Inside. I really liked Martyrs, but I couldn't stand how weak, and gruesome Inside was.
