I was SO upset about the animated movie choice. Toy Story 3!?!?! GOD! >:[ How to Train your Dragon should have won. That movie was the best I have seen in a while. dumb toys.

ElysiumFate 03-01-2011 04:36 AM

I know, right? I couldn't believe that Toy Story 3 won that. I mean...seriously...Toy Story is such a drawn out tired thing anymore. Something at least original should have won. Tangled was good, and I don't even think that was in the running. Some of the hand drawn things they had in there were much better looking than TS3. I wish they'd considered it more.

Oh...and the song from TS3 that won "best original song"...yeah...I thought that sucked. The one from 127 hours should have won, in my opinion.

Oh that's just great, I haven't seen a single one of the winning films.... >_<

~LONGCAT~ 03-01-2011 06:38 PM

I didn't see Tangled but I was really rooting for Dragons. That movie was adorable and action packed family fun. And the dragons were like kitties :3
I was upset that TS3 won any of the oscars. I seriously think that the third movie in a trilogy is always bad, and besides TS is so old now. :<

ElysiumFate 03-02-2011 02:29 AM

@Aspinou: Don't feel bad, lol. I don't think that there was much worth watching this year anyway. I barely drug myself to see Black Swan or The King's Speech. The latter was good, but the former was too hyped up.

@Cat: Indeed. It's just not original anymore. TS3 that its. I personally think that Tangled is the movie that finally got Disney its mojo back. How to Train Your Dragon was cute. I loved that Craig Ferguson played one of the vikings. That man makes my day. :)
