X-Men: First Class
 

After seeing this movie twice in theaters, X-Men: First Class is definitely my new favorite movie. Here's my synopsis:

The film takes place before the others, acting as a sequel. The setting is an alternate reality of the Cuban Missile Crisis of the 60's. Before Professor X and Magneto became enemies, Charles and Erik were the best of friends. In a world that had yet to discover the existence of mutants, they will meet for the first time and assemble the their first group of mutants, some familiar and some new.

From what I've read, this movie will likely be the first installment of a new X-Men trilogy. So what do you think, are you excited for more X-Men?

- I confess being a fan of X-Men since watching the newer version of the cartoon as a kid but I've never read the comics.
- My favorite scene from the movie contains major spoilers so I won't mention it...
- Charles never used to be my favorite mutant but he definitely is after seeing this movie. I just can't help it, McAvoy makes him look so good. ^///^
- If I could have a mutant ability, I'd have to choose teleportation. It would be super useful to be able to zap anywhere I want, whenever I want.

Even though it's my new favorite film, I'd probably only give it a nine out of ten for a few minor details.

I'm not sure what scene you're referring to. Do you mean in the beginning in the nazi camp?

I honestly didn't like her character much but I do admit the tattoos looked pretty cool.

That part was hillarious!

Oh, now I see what you were talking about! I couldn't think of what metal building you could be referring to. That was the bomb shelter, that room.

Love and myself can't be the ones who've seen the movie. Does anyone else have anything to say about it?

I was so disappointed when X-Men Origins: Wolverine came out....I didn't enjoy it at all. So I was hesitant to see First Class....but they definitely made up for it and then some~ I ended up seeing First Class twice in theatres, I really enjoyed the entire movie! The first time I saw it was at the midnight premiere....and when Xavier got shot, I knew something was going to happen, but I was so wrapped up in the battle and Magneto that I just didn't expect it then and there....so I let out this super loud gasp lol. I was shocked for a second. I knew it was coming but I just wasn't expecting it at that time!

I thought the actors did a tremendous job in this movie! I enjoyed both Charles and Eric very much!

Holy smokes!! at First I was like "looks good" then I saw it Twice in the theaters!! <3 i loved it.
James McAvoy attracted me to the movie, I have to admit..But I left the theater loving on Michael Fassbender <3
Now I love them both!! They are sooo good together!

YamiSora: Long time no chat! But yeah, that part was great, I laughed so hard!

Daine: I'm glad I'm not the only one who went back to see it more than once. I wasn't really expecting that part to happen the way it did. It was definitely so much more than I thought it would be, very dramatic in a good way. I love McAvoy, he's great.

Ignis: McAvoy definitely did it for me, he made such a great Charles. I really did like the relationship between the two of them though, they both played very well. I'm excited to see more of them if the second movie gets approved!

I love them together too!~ Michael Fassbender was in Inglorious Bastards. I realized that when he was in the bar and he was killing those guys. ^^

I haven't seen Unglorious Bastards but I also don't plan on doing so. V_V

He made a great Magneto - I think. He is a wonderful actor, he was enjoyable to watch.
I kind of wanted to cry at the end though...Charles's legs!!! :gonk:

I was choking back tears at the end as well. His creepy smile was kinda freaky but he did play the character very well.

He cared about Charles, and he showed it very well.
I loved his smile, it made me laugh xD that's why he is known as "shark teeth" ^^ <3

Oh, inever really understood the shark/mouse thing. >_<

Well..people compare him to the shark from Finding nemo...
