SPOILER ALERT

Only if you look at it that way. Consider this; Harry Potter finally destroys the person whose destiny was linked to his, the one person feared by the entirety of the magical world and practically all-powerful. Now that Harry's destiny is freed from Voldemort's, he can live his life in peace, live it normally (about as normal as any wizard can anyway), and be happy.

Now, can you really feel sad about the series coming to an end when the hero ends up so happy? :)

it was good but to me the eading was stuped thay could have dun a way better jobe on macking herry ron and haminy look older

They won't mess it up. A lot of people are neglecting to say Miss Rowling was an executive producer. I don't think I need to say what that means. ;D

i just saw both HP7:part 2 in 3D yeasterday, but Captain America 3D as well!!!! It was a great movie day, and both were AWESOME!!!!!!!

I kind of agree with Checho here.

They didn't do as good a job as I thought they might have with the makeup/prosthetic (?) on the actors. They could have even used different actors, imo, cuz it has been 19 years; they should look somewhat older. But otherwise, the movie was great, and "Not my daughter, b****!" was the best thing. Ever.

Our whole theater started clapping at that quote! It was so awesome.

As a Grammar Nazi, I'm afraid to read Checho's posts now. ._.

But yeah, the only thing different about Harry in epilogue was that he had a beard now. I think Ron did too, but I could hardly see any difference in Hermione. A little change in hairstyle here and there, maybe dress them in clothes most older people would probably wear, and that's about it. Be damned if it wasn't heartwarming though. The movies will always pale in comparison to the books, though. The written word has the greatest strength for this series, I believe.

Oh yeah, don't get me wrong, the ending was well done, and really stayed true to the feel of the book's ending. I loved it, and every bit of it. Just, they did not look old enough to me. Ginny looked exactly the same. They just tried to dress her up 'older' looking, and her hair just looked off lol.

And I agree with you EE. The movies won't compare to the books, but overall, the movies were enjoyable, and I'll miss the excitement of going to see them when they come out.

the deathly hallows part two was amazing. i cried when my favorite characters died. but all in all it was an amazing movie :)

Nettchen11 07-26-2011 05:18 PM

I think the reason HP& parts one and two were so good was because J.K. Rowling was executive producer on this one.

I really enjoyed the movie, as they really put their all in to this last film. I thought the wrapped it up quite well, and I'm sure JK Rowling was very proud of the film. I'm glad to see that Ron, Harry, and Hermonie survived and got to live long enough to see each other have families. Very bittersweet ending in a way but it was definitely a good ending.
