Disney/Pixar Movies

You gotta show some love to Disney Movies :D
You know! The Little Mermaid... The Lion King... Hercules!

And what about the sequels? Do you like those?
Lion King 1 1/2 was pretty funny ^^

I love The Little Mermaid myself. But i love lots of these adorable movies!
Toy Story is my favorite pixar one.

JackqaJacqueline 08-13-2011 03:27 AM

Lion king 1/2 was pretty funny. Sequels are awesome at times, but then it kinda ruins the orginal story a bit. xD
It's w/e though. If you're a fan of a movie, I'd think you'd enjoy a sequel a bit at least.

Yeah I agree. All the Toy Story's were pretty good :)
Mulan II was good too~ it just adds to the story haha.

Disney movies are amazing ^.^
Even though some can get quite dark and depressing o.O

JackqaJacqueline 08-13-2011 03:57 AM

Ahs~ Toy Story sequels were great. xD I take 20% of my last comment back.
I don't believe I've seen Mulan II yet. 'o';; so I can't say much. xD

Mulan II was pretty good!
You should watch it sometime :)

JackqaJacqueline 08-13-2011 04:05 AM

I should. :O

Heartful_Song 08-13-2011 04:13 AM

Yup! Go watch it!
Youtube = :love:

JackqaJacqueline 08-13-2011 04:33 AM

Perhaps later. I'm watching a let's play of Amnesia. xD
I do know what you mean when you say disney movies can be dark or disturbing sometimes. I kinda don't like Princess and the Frog. I got the message that don't work to hard to make your goals happen and just wish your dreams will just happen. Haha. Altough. I loved the animation and the quality of the work. The Byu? (idk how it's spelt) was pretty catchy. :)

Heartful_Song 08-13-2011 05:07 AM

Lol well you seen the Lion King yes?
I mean dark and disturbing when Mufasa dies maybe... and Scar's scary image.
Oh! And The Hunchback of Notre Dame had its 'scary' moments.
The Black Cauldron did as well *nods*
I was just making statement :D
I always cry when Mufasa dies o.O

And I loved the Princess and the Frog.
It was really cute~

JackqaJacqueline 08-13-2011 05:11 AM

Oh xD My bad. :)
Yeah, I did watched that movie. One of my favorites~ ^0^
That movie had a good flow of turn of events.

Abduco 08-16-2011 05:01 AM

I love Cinderella and Lady & the Tramp
I'm a sucker for the oldddd 50-year-old Disney movies like those two, but let's be honest here.. I love all the Disney animated movies that I've seen.

Heartful_Song 08-16-2011 05:21 AM

Oh! The Lady and the Tramp was adorable!
I love the ending.
Puppies!!!!

Wynna 08-16-2011 09:59 PM

I've loved Beauty and the Beast and it's sequels. Also I really enjoyed Little Mermaid II and Little Mermaid III.

Heartful_Song 08-17-2011 12:53 AM

My favorite disney movie is the Little Mermaid!
The second one was adorable <3
and the third one was nice since it talked about Ariel's past. That was sad/sweet

Rukia Kuchiki- 08-29-2011 01:37 AM

My personal favorite will always be Finding Nemo :3
But aside from Pixar, I love Lion King and the Little Mermaid--those have always been favorites as well. I suppose since I've been to Disneyland virtually every year since I was 8 (now 20), my love for Disney will never die. I'm always going to be a 8 year old trapped inside a 20 year old XD

Nacara 08-29-2011 06:51 AM

Did you ever look into the "adult" themes hidden in classic Disney movies? Crazy stuff!
For example, in the Lion King, when (grown up) Simba lays down on a cliff at night, the pollen that blows from underneath him spells out "sex".
Makes you wonder what else may be hidden! (search on Youtube for proof!)

FlorathePrincess 08-30-2011 02:55 AM

I basically <3 every single one of their movies~~!!

ChocoCoveredCoffeeChick 09-05-2011 01:37 PM

I am a very big Disney/Pixar fan. Though more Disney.

With it comes to Pixar I like Finding Nemo and Monsters Inc. the rest are a hit or miss in my book. The story lines are either done really well, or really bad. Which needless to say is just my opinion since I know people who prefer Pixar over Disney. Mainy because they like the computer imaging and stuff more. But I will stick to the classics.

When it comes to Disney I think all their movies are adorable and cute. My favorites being Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty. All classic disney, and amazing. I love how it isn't so computer animated and very much hand drawn up for almost every piece. But if we are going to do New School Disney I like Tangled and The Princess and the Frog. They are good too, though more computer animated.

Either way when it comes to picking I will always chose Disney over Pixar. And I will always chose the First movie over any of the sequals when it comes to which of them is my favorite. Interesting fact. Ariel, from the Little Mermaid, the only Disney Princess to have a child. And I love looking at my VHS tapes and seeing all the sexual references in them (there are more in the VHS's than in the DVDs or BluRays)

YamiSora 09-13-2011 05:24 PM

Sora's a big disney/pixar fan....especially disney!

Sora knows all the mistakes and seen all the movies from the company's and is even being taught by some of their animators at school (Sora's college is only 10 min away from disney studios and they love to teach us students XDD)

and since were entering fun facts:
1. Tiana is the first princess to not want a prince as her goal
2. she is also the first princess with dimples
3. She is also the first left handed princess (and thats actually because her voice actress is also left-handed and insisted Tiana be too! XDD)

ShadowDemon101 10-06-2011 02:37 PM

Ahaha I didn't know she was left-handed! XD

But yeah Disney movies I really love especially Mulan and Aladdin  I'm also quite fond of Tangled because I thought that they took an actual story and made it really work =3

Pixar I love Monsters INc; how can I not with a monster like Sullie?? And Boo too  Finding Nemo was also very good as was all 3 Toy Story Movies; srsly I was never expecting it to be a triology :XD

Warrow8282 10-17-2011 08:24 PM

I didn't really like any sequels to the Disney movies... never as good as the original movie! I can't think of any I really liked all that much at all...

I absolutely love Disney movies, though! My favorites are Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, and Mulan... I'm sure I'm missing some that I absolutely adore. I haven't really been into many of the newer movies, though... I think after Lion King, the quality of the content in Disney movies just went downhill.

Fluffsamasprime 10-19-2011 05:56 AM

My favorite Disney sequels were the second Aladin movie and Lion King 2. Other wise I loved all the original Disney movies.

Idiot Savant 10-22-2011 07:31 AM

My favorites would have to be Little Mermaid, Tangled, The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad, Treasure Island, Mary Poppins, Brother Bear, Pocahontas, and Tarzan. I could watch those all day.
:)

Cora 10-22-2011 04:32 PM

My favorites are mostly ones that have that old magical feel Disney used to have in films like The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast. Very simple story lines with simple magic. Tangled goes back to that a bit.

Don't get me wrong I love the newer Disney films as well.....I just liked that old feel better.

PrincessBane 10-22-2011 07:24 PM

I absolutely love Disney movies. My favourite movies were probably The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, and Beauty and the Beast. >< Cinderella still makes me tear up alittle bit for reasons unexplained. I never cared too much about the sequels to those movies, they were kinda "meh" for me.
