Is there a movie ending that always makes you cry? For me, its The Proffesional. When Jean Reno sacrifices himself so that Natalie Portan's character can get away from the crooked cops always makes me breakdown.

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.
Full bodied sobs and an ache in my chest. I wanted to throw things.

Oh dear...there's lots. Nights in Rodanthe, Moulin! Rouge, SuckerPunch, The Last Song, and Tristan and Isolde. Nights in Rodanthe ~ Why'd he have to die, Nicholas!?
Moulin! Rouge ~ Get's me every freakin' time. I just can't handle the ending.
SuckerPunch ~ Just plain sad. One out of five girls only survived.
The Last Song ~ I had never cried so hard to a movie like that before. Miley Cyrus, surprisingly, did an amazing job.
Tristan and Isolde ~ That's sad...to finally have the ending you've been desperately fighting for to have it torn away by death.

Hotaru no haka (either anime or live action)
Hachiko Monogotari

I got a lot other others but can't think of them right now.
Pixar tends to make you cry from the start, see Up.

Moulin Rouge gets me every single time. I can never make it through the ending without shedding a tear. Also that movie Remember Me with Robert Pattinson. I bawled my poor little eyes out. Everything was going good for his character! Oh it's so sad.

I am legend. Not exactly the end but when he has to kill his own dog with his bare hands to save himself. I cried a bit, I'll admit.
Also click, near the end, was a tear jerker for me. Until he manages to flip the bird despite his condition.

The ending of Up always makes me cry when he opens the photo album and discovers the last few pages. I never used to cry for movies but now I get a lot more emotional over things.

V for Vendetta with Hugo Weaving and Natalie Portman, I always try NOT to cry at the end if I am around others. One of my favorite quotes from the movie is...
Quote:
"V: Will you Dance with me?
Evee: Now on the eve of your revolution?
V: A revolution without dancing, is a revolution not worth having"
|
V was my favorite, just because of how he was, why did Evee have to leave him for so many months, if she loved him she should have stayed or went back sooner. It could have stopped him from dying in the end :(

The end of 'Heavenly Creatures' always gives me goosebumps. We all had a BFF, and sometimes that does go weird/dark places, the little worlds we have together. But even though they killed that woman (spoiler!!! iiii!) it still struck a chord in me, the realisation they were never going to see each other again.

I can't remember the names of these two movies, probably because I got extremely depressed afterwards and just wanted to forget how upset they made me, but one had to do with AIDs and the other with cancer.
The first one was about this couple who get a blood transfusion or something along those lines, and they go through some fertilization process to have a baby, only for all three of them to end up contracting AIDs. The rest of the movie is basically about them trying to get by and appreciate what life they have left and what life their little girl has left. Obviously, they all die.
The other movie is about this girl who gets married, has three kids, and her husband is just a total piece of crap. He cheats on her, her older son doesn't like her, and she basically spends most of her life trying to support them while knowing her husband is having an affair. Theeeen, she gets cancer, and dies.
Oh, then there's Boys Don't Cry. Oh man... that movie breaks my heart. Someone already mentioned it, but Moulin Rouge is a given (loooove that movie).
AHHH, I just remembered! Streetwise, this documentary from 1984, makes me sob towards the end. I highly recommend this film; it documents the lives of a group of teenagers living on the streets of Seattle in 1984, and it's just so damn sad. I don't want to give anything away, but... it's a very powerful film.

The only movies to make me bawl like a baby at the end, were Johnny Depp's 'Finding Neverland' and 'Toy Story 3'.
Sure a lot of movie endings make me a little sad, because I love the story and the characters, but those are the only two to really make me cry.

I just watched Shaolin the other day, with Andy Lau, Jackie Chan and Nicholas Tse. The ending for that movie, combined with the music just made me burst into tears and made me want to throw things and shout 'THAT'S BULLSHIT, THAT'S SO UNFAIR'.
Good movie, though.
