I finally caught up and watched through the Canterlot wedding episode. Glad they made if a bit different from what I was expecting. ^^

I find it hard to adequately express my delight with that episode. I was having a terrible weekend and it just made my life perfect for those forty-five minutes :)

Agreed. Those episodes were pretty well done and made me happy as well. I'm hoping season three will be just as promising.

1. Who's your favorite My Little Pony character?
My answer: Twilight! She's organized, loves books, and is scared to DEATH of being tardy- just like me! And she's purple, my favorite color. XD

2. What was your favorite episode of MLP?
My answer: Ooh, this is a tuffy...but if I had to choose it would be the Canterlot Wedding. This Day Aria is the most EPIC song EVER!

3. If YOU were a pony, what kind would you be? (This is the pole) And I'm not putting alicorn up there because alicorns are royals and we all know it. If you think otherwise, prove it with some evidence in the thread.
My answer: A unicorn! Unicorns specialize in magic and knowledge, and not only am I a magic fan but I'm a total nerd. Also, I took a few quizzes they all say I'm a unicorn.

I don't really understand what's the attraction to My Little Pony. I tried watching the first episode, and I don't know, I just don't get it. It just, it's humor is to me, is aimed for a younger audience and that it overly exaggerates on what's supposed to be funny.

Is it, the artwork, or..the storyline or the cast? I think I would enjoy it if it was making fun of something in a sarcastic or ironic way. But to me personally, the storyline is so.. serious about uh.. whatever connection it's making. Like, "Oh no! This person is bad, we must stop them!"

I'm not putting down anyone who loves it, but I'm a little confused by its popularity.

Only seen up to about half way through the second season so far but find the show very enjoyable with just a couple of niggles that mostly come down to growing up mainly with British kids tv resulting in my finding stuff like 'lesson of the episode' segments that American kids tv seems so fond of annoying (And did so as a kid, though at least in this case it's better integrated than, say, Sonic Sez was)

I'd probably have enjoyed this as a kid and have gained fond memories of it, though I doubt it would have become a favourite. Much like Gummi Bears was for me, which I think I was at about the same age as the target audience for MLP is when I watched it, really. Not sure if I'd have been willing to admit it or not, mind.

I have to argue with this fact. Even though Celestia, Luna, Cheesehooves (<3) and Cadence are all royalty, they are not the only alicorns. My friend had a problem with people calling her Alicorn OC a mary sue because she isn't royalty. But guess what we found in an episode of MLP? An alicorn in the background! She's even a filly~. Her name is Pluto.

There's going to be an official MLP comic book!

I love the My Little Pony reboot, though I didn't think I would beforehand. Although before I considered those that like it to be oddballs, I decided to give it a try first. It was just after the second season I found the first episode on YouTube, and didn't want to stop watching!

Although Amy's statement here did get me thinking.

I, in fact, did consider this before even seeing the question. Here is where I put my thoughts and evidence.

It's not much, but I think it's a good argument, all things considered.

Twi and Spike are going to sing a duet in season three. Here's a preview from Comic Con and a little bit of info about the upcoming season.
