What are two of your favourite shows that are nothing alike..??
Well all week I have been sick sick sick so I spend most of my time just laying on the couch with the television going in the back ground but I've actually been watching a lot of three different shows... Degrassi is one of them but that isn't really important to this thread and I only get to watch a little bit of it anyway... The two main shows I have been watching though are My Little Pony:Friendship is Magic and Law&Order:SVU... I am hooked on both of them and I can't pick a favourite but when I tell people these are what I'm watching they are always like... *mind blown* because they are polar opposite shows... My question is, what shows do you love to watch that are like that, polar opposites...? |

Mine are sort of similar to yours actually. Swap in Criminal Minds for Law & Order: SVU though. I am a HUGE fan of both CM and MLP:FiM even though the two are not similar at all, except maybe for a problem solving aspect. *shrug* Oh well, I like what I like. ---------- Quote:

Oh, this is rather fun idea!! Glee and Mystery Diagnosis! One is a musical and scripted, the other about real life people not being to figure out there illnesses. The only similarity? There is plenty of drama in each!!
So maybe Glee and Mythbuster's would be a better one? |

I don't have cable, but probably Skins and Degrassi as well as Wonder Showzen... DEFINITELY different. |

I love Jersey Shore and The King of Queens. They're different because Jersey Shore is about one night stands, partying, and drama, while The King of Queens is about working class people who are normal and funny.

What's funny is this last year the amount of shows I started watching has risen exponentially. All throughout high school I only watched one show, but now I watch most anything as long as it keeps my interest. I secretly blame my worsening insomnia. But... I digress.
Hmm, I guess if I were to pull two (that are still coming out with new episodes) from opposite ends of the spectrum it would be Psych and Downton Abbey. Psych: 80s references, happiness, murder mysteries, pineapples Downton Abbey: Early 1900s, sadness, more sadness, I JUST WANT THEM TO BE HAPPY BUT WE CAN'T HAVE NICE THINGS! -cough- Yeah... |
Currently my favorite shows are, The Big Bang Theory and Modern Family.

Glee is a musical, very dramatic, shallow, romantic, and addictive.
The Oran High School Host Club...is an Anime, about mostly guys, not a musical, and very....very...well over dramatic. |
I like both, Blood + and The Big Bang Theory.
