If you know that quote then you'll know I'm talking about The Room.
So I'm just wandering if anybody has seen it. Personally I think I don't think it's one of those films that are so bad it's good I think it's so terrible it's amazing xD So has anybody seen it? If so tell me what you thought.

Oh gosh. Just as you said, I saw the quote and instantly knew what this thread was about. This movie is a masterpiece of awfulness. I only have one other friend (at least, off the internet) that has seen it and we quote it to each other every chance we get. It's just so good. XD

I have a few friends who i introduced it to and they love it. Me and some of my friends actually wanna get t-shirts with the quotes on because we love it that much.

But I know What you mean about not knowing many people who know about it. This film is too underrated and i think a lot more people should see it.

And you never know. This topic might actually encourage people to do so xD. Well here's hoping as we definitely do need more room lovers out there.

I would ask you what's you favourite scene but I think it would be definitely hard to choose as all the scenes are just amazing.

I think what makes it even better is that Tommy Wiseau actually took that film seriously and put his heart and soul into it. Also he actually took out a loan and spent so much money on this film but i wanna know what he spent the most money on exactly as this seemed too much of a low budget film o.O

I've definitely seen some quote shirts that I'd wear proudly.

Hopefully this thread does get some people curious because the world would be a better place if more people saw this film. It's just one of those things where everyone who sees it agrees: It is horrible and that is what makes it amazing.

And yeah, I really couldn't pick a favorite scene. All of them are so perfect and I'd end up just describing the whole thing.

What really adds to the whole thing is that after everyone started saying how awful it was he started to market the film as a "black comedy". No, Tommy, I hate to break it to you but this is so obviously unintentionally funny and that is what makes it funny.

Wait they actually have official t shirts of it? Because if they do that would be amazing :)

Haha yes this world would be a better place. Imagine a world where everyone greets each other the way they do in the film. That would be a great world.

I don't think any of them are "official", but there are some floating around the internet.

I would want to spend the rest of my life in that world.

Yes. It's another film that the people who made it took seriously but no one else did.

If you love the room because of how terrible it is then i would definitely recommend show girls. It will amaze you i can say that much

Well, it is a cult film, so I would expect some obscurity. However, with all the memes I've seen floating around for the film, I'd expect a lot more people to be at least familiar with it. We'll just have to camp out in the thread until curious people decide to read it.

Well, it's not exactly the most popular film out there. And this isn't exactly the largest community on the internet. But you aren't the only two who know The Room. That much I can assure.

Thanks to a friend of mine and I, a good portion of the people we hang out with have been subjected to it, with myriad reactions. Such a beautifully terrible movie. And so insanely quotable.

We're still trying to figure out what kind of strange accent Wiseau has. Apparently he calls himself American, but I think he's American the same way Superman is. If you get what I'm saying.

And yeah, I know a ton of people online who've seen it. I also don't live too far from San Fran and I've heard that there's a small theater that shows it every once in a while a la Rocky Horror (with people dressing up and whatnot). My friend who's seen it and I keep saying we need to go and see it. :3

And yeah... he has the strangest voice! That's one of the best parts of the movie though.

If I weren't on the other side of the country, I'd have to look into that theatre. That sounds like a good time. Speaking of Rocky Horror, I need to make it to one of the showings around here. I've seen it, but it's not the same as actually going to one.

Agreed. It wouldn't have quite the same charm without it.

If you're up to it, I would point out that the guy who made Newgrounds made an adventure game tribute to The Room. It's long, but entertaining. Shouldn't be too hard to find on there. Just search "The Room" and it should be at the top of the results.

Yeah I'd go for proud. And I'm on here now to gladly announce that the neverending story picture is now my background for my computer
