The Dark Knight Rises!
 

Okay, so I'm shocked I haven't seen a thread like this sitting in this forum yet!

I mean this movie was fantastic!! Just more proof that Nolan is one of the best filmmakers of the last decade!

I loved everything about it. It was brilliantly well cast. Tom Hardy was GENIUS as Bane. He's an actor to watch out for in the next few years. He's gonna shock us (partially because he's a freaking chameleon! He full delves into whatever role he's playing and it is brilliant. I can't wait to see him in his upcoming film Lawless.) Christian Bale as always plays a stunningly flawed Batman. Oldman is perhaps one of the best actors around. Joseph Gordon-Levitt is such a great actor and does flawlessly in the role of Blake. Anne Hathaway was a SHOCKINGLY good Catwoman. This is one of the best casts for a film in a long time coming.

The twists were AMAZING and I didn't see them coming.

Any plans to see it again? I know I'm going to, at least once (twice if I can manage it).

I went! Theater was packed, but it was a really great movie! I'll probably get it on DVD, but I'm not spending another $14.50 on it at the cinema.

I saw it on opening day. It is one of the best movies of the year. Anne Hathaway is amazing as catwoman.

I watched about 15 minutes of it then fell asleep. -_-; My partner who is not a big Batman fan liked it so I figured I would but I've tried watching it three times and keep falling asleep. I just may wait until it's out on DVD to buy it to try to watch it again or wait until it comes to the $1 theater. I wasn't a huge fan of the Dark Knight so I was expect The Dark Knight Rises to be similar and just as not accurate.

I have only heard good things about this movie. I'm only going to watch it tomorrow. Yes, delayed as I may be but I am still as excited as ever! Also, how can you go wrong when you have some an awesome cast like that?

Also, Joseph Gordon LEvitt??? Yum? XD

It's not the cast or acting that's the problem, it's how accurate it is that's the issue for me. I try to look at each Batman series as a stand alone thing but I've read comics too and if something doesn't line up then it just bugs me.

@Pa-pancake, Joseph Gordon-Levitt is brilliant in this. Unfortunately, Tom Hardy and Michael Caine really steal the show. Hardy is going to go places and they are going to be big places. and we all know Caine is an old expert.

@Mystic, I'm not a big comic fan so I just watch the movie for it's own awesomeness. In fact, until I saw Dark Knight I didn't even watch superhero movies. I thought they were silly. This trilogy changed my opinion and now I love them.
But I do understand that annoyance a bit cuz that's how I get with books I love being turned into movies.

Oh yes, Hardy was a charming evil psychopath villain! Despite looking that way he was oozing charisma!

Everyone was awesome in the movie. Anne Hathaway with those killer heels??? Damn, I want to rock high heels the way she did. By using them as a weapon... And her waist is tiny! She was a really good catwoman! I thought she would not be able to pull it off but man, she was great!

I really cannot wait for what's about to follow up from this. Mostly because I love Blake and how he would follow from here. Well, hopefully at least since Christian Bale doesn't look like he is going to continue and they need a younger guy for the Justice League.

But yeah, I thoroughly enjoyed this movie.

And this bike and plane/car! Those were just amazeballs. The bike especially <3

my fiancee took me to see it when it came out in the cinema.. was AMAZING <3 i adore Bane
